Long distance relationship

Zendayas POV

Today is the day that I've dreaded since landing in London. I'm going back home to Los Angeles. I have work in LA and Tom has work here. This is the not so glamorous side of dating someone in this business.

"Do you have everything?" Tom asks

I'm sitting on the floor zipping up my suitcase
"Yeah I think so" I stand up with my suitcase. It's heavy.

"Come here" Tom says from the bed. I walk over to him and sit on his lap. He moves my hair behind my ear and kisses my temple. "Just 15 days" he whispers

"Don't say 'just' Tom" I look him "15 days will feel like a thousand"

"A thousand?" He smiles

"Okay" a give a small laugh "But you know what I mean"

"Of course I do. It's not going to be easy so we'll have to make sure we're communicating really well. That means late night calls and maybe if you're lucky a little bit of phone sex" he nudges me, smiling. I laugh too. I appreciate him making light of this crappy situation.

"Yeah. Okay" I lean in and kiss him. He deepens the kiss, moving his hands to my hair. I lean forward so I'm practically straddling him. He pushes his tongue into my mouth and I welcome it, savoring every last touch. He moves his hands onto my hips as he kisses me until I'm breathless and lost in a trance. My heart is pounding. We pull away breathless, trying to catch our breaths. If we don't stop now, we'll never make it to the airport on time.

"My brothers wanted to say goodbye to you before you left, so they're downstairs" he tells me before we stand up and he grabs my suitcase and head for the stairs. Sure enough Sam, Harry and Paddy are waiting for us when we make it down the stairs.

"There she is!" Harry says and is the first one to give me a hug.

"I'll see you in a few weeks. I'm tagging along with Tom in LA"

"Amazing! I can't wait. We'll have so much fun"

I give paddy and Sam hugs and I promise them that I'd visit again soon. It was great spending time with them on this trip. I'm going to miss them.

It's officially time for me to leave. We head outside and hop in the car. All three brothers are outside waving so I give them a small wave and we're off. I'm still staring off outside when Tom grabs my hand from across the center console.

He doesn't say anything. Just brings my hand up to his lips. I give him a weak smile. I've always handled these days pretty bad in the past. I'm trying to be strong for the both us but Tom usually wins in that department.

"I think it's safe to say you've won over every single person in my life" he tells me to I think lighten the mood. I smile at him.

"These next few weeks are going to be so shitty" I complain. "I'm already dreading them"

"How can I make it better?" He asks genuinely.

"How could you make it better? Hmm If you were with me and never left my side"

"I know, baby but you know that's not possible"

"I know, silly me" I fake laugh

"How about I promise to call you first thing in the morning and right before bed every night"
He asks "That way you can start and end your day with me"

"Yes, I would love that" I smile. We've stopped at a light so Tom takes the opportunity to lean over and kiss me softly on the lips.

We've pulled up to the airport now. Tom parks in the parking structure where we can have a proper goodbye with some privacy.
