Chapter 3: See ya later, suckers!

after a few weeks, zookeepers were able to figure out what was the cause of lightning's injury. they promptly released cutie pie from the zoo afterwards. cutie pie looked back at Lyca, dune, and lightning. "I'll see you guys later in the wild! hope you don't get killed out there!" he said, and then he was dropped back in the wild. "What a wild month. I'm so glad to be free from that place" cutie pie said to himself, as he started to walk to the same lake he was at before. he looked at his reflection and saw that he was bigger, his orange patch of neck fur covering slightly more parts of his body. he was growing up. he's going to become an adult in the next few months. 

the next book will skip a few months, to when he's almost an adult.
