LUKE HEMMINGS
I couldn't stand to watch Ellie and Tristan together. Every time they made an appearance, my chest tightened, and my heart sank. I had begun to distract myself with drinking a little more and going out a little less. We had to travel for football games at the beginning of the week and make it back by the end of the week to finish up our classes, so I didn't see Ellie as much either. The long bus rides were tiring, and I hadn't talked to my friends much.
"You're being so dramatic, just get up and come out with us for dinner tonight, mate." Michael grumbled, grabbing my ankle as I held onto the mattress of my bed while he pulled. He had been at this for a while now.
"No, I don't wanna go if-"
"Tristan's not going to be there," he interrupted causing me to look at him from the side, "since I knew that's what you were worried about. Now come on, Ellie wants to hang out with us and plan the rest of this party."
I sighed, but instead of getting up I buried my head underneath my pillow. "I'd rather stay he-" Before I could finish my sentence, Michael tugged my legs harshly sending my lower half off the bed as my top half laid limp on the bed.
"Take a shower and get dressed, we're leaving in 30 minutes." And with that, he left my room. I groaned loudly, pushing myself up and picked out some decently nice clothes to wear. He hadn't even told me where we were going. I took a quick shower and dried off before slipping into black jeans and a flannel, leaving the top buttons open to expose my chest. I clipped on a few chains and slipped rings on my fingers before grabbing my favorite bottle of cologne and spritzing my wrists and a tad bit on my neck. It made me smell expensive, and I from personal experience, I knew people liked the smell of it. I slipped on my black Chelsea boots to match before finally exiting my room. As soon as I did, I heard someone whistle.
Turning my head, I saw Zoey leaning against Calum's doorway, clearly checking me out. "You clean up well, Hemmings."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, thanks. Where's Cal?"
"Don't be such a buzz kill, babe. I'm just complimenting you." She says, her voice filled with seduction.
"Okay, and I asked where Calum was."
Zoey narrowed her eyes at me for a moment before sighing and pointing to the stairs to let me know he was downstairs. I ignored her gaze as I made my way down the steps to see the rest of my friends in the living room, Ellie included. They were mid conversation when I approached, and as soon as my presence became known, pretty blue eyes locked with my own. She looked good wearing ripped baggy jeans with a cropped sweatshirt that was sinched at the waist. Black vans covered her small feet as well, which I thought pulled her outfit together perfectly. Her lips tilted up into a welcoming smile and I couldn't help but to return it.
"Hemmo, finally!" Calum exclaimed before rushing over to me and pushing my shoulder back. "You ready to get some grub?"
"Where will we be eating?" I ask as we all began to pile out the door to Ashton's vehicle.
"Twin Peaks." Ashton answers simply while unlocking the car.
My eyes widened with surprise as I glanced at Ellie for a second, "you do realize that place is a-"
"-breastaurant? We know." Ellie interrupts, walking past me to open the backseat door. I looked at Michael with confusion as he laughed, shrugging.
"We suggested it and she agreed, fuck I don't know."
"Shotgun!" Calum exclaimed as I reached for the passenger side handle.
