Pt. 15 A Small Crisis

To another, darker forest.

The trees were much more concentrated, letting little light through the canopy.

Mei: This is eerie...

You looked around and saw nothing apart from trees and dirt.

Kendo: Hey... the water here... it's pink.

You all looked over to see her crouched over some, as she said, pink water.

Ponama: There's a huge ass pink flower over here!

Y/N: Definitely not a normal forest.

Mei: Let me see if this water is drinkable.

She takes the water in a small vial before inspecting the solution in a long tube, one that had a black and white circle on the bottom.

Mei: Well, it looks like no. Whatever is in it, it's a lot of it, and if it's poisonous, I don't know.

Kendo dipped her toe in the water, testing it.

Kendo: Well, it feels... a little thicker than water.

Y/N: That's bad.

Kendo: It... makes me feel, warm... what the...?

Her breathing became laboured. Her mouth started to open and dripped saliva.

Ponama: Itsuka. Get outta the water.

Kendo: Okay.

She followed the word with a stifled moan, though not many heard it as she got out of the water, into Ponama's hold.

Y/N: Great. Horny water.

Kendo: G-guys?

You all look to her.

Kendo: Can I get some time... alone?

Ponama: We don't know what's in here. If there's water that does this... then... well we can only imagine what the animals are like.

Mei: Is that an orc?

You all looked towards Mei, then where she was looking.

You saw a particularly ugly looking, wide set orc.

Y/N: Ugh. I'd bet my ass this got affected by the water.

Mei: Shit.

Y/N: You got rounds left?

Mei: Yeah. Why?

Y/N: Draw the thing, you might need it.

She draws her weapon and takes a breath as she takes another look.

Y/N: The flower is pink, just like the water, you think it does the same thing?

You asked over heavy, vigilant breaths.

Mei: Not sure.

Y/N: Damn it. This is so... strange!

Ponama: No shit.

He held the still panting Kendo, who was fighting her urges.

Y/N: Not looking good.

Your eyes flicked around the whole area, scouring your surroundings for anything else.

Y/N: The hell is this?

Mei: If I knew, I'd tell you. Gargh! Give me the damn thing.

She looks at Ponama, a fist closed and her teeth clenched. He shrinks down into himself slightly, before handing over the device.
