3. Mila
What happened?" Jack asked, its about 6pm, Jack called me for an evening run. I wasn't a fitness fanatic, but I always loved to run.
Running was away to cope, I shook my head,"My past came to bite me in the ass."
Jack cracked a smile, after Giovanna punched me and I retaliated by beating her ass. I went home to shower and I was going to take a nap when, Jack called me asking me out. Its not weird for a client to call to "hangout" but usually hanging out
It just always ends up being about sex."Your past? You say." Jack says, sitting down on a nearby bench opening his water bottle and chugging it down, "Is it a bad one?"
I sigh,"Yea pretty bad one. Its the reason why I moved here."
Jack took a sip of his water, he stood up and stretched."Do you wanna come up? To the pad. We can talk more. You can cook or I can cook, but I really wanna taste your cooking." Jack smiled at me.
"Sure why not." I respond.
Entering Jacks apartment it was decorated with beauty. I wouldn't have thought a newly divorced bachelor would have such good taste in decor. Maybe that was kind of biased for me to think, some men have great taste. "Wow" I whistled.
"Yea, my mother helped decorate. I didn't want to spend to much. I did not know how much I'd have to give my ex wife, but turns out she didn't want my money. She said that her new lovers money was enough, and that I could never compare to him." Jack rambles, taking his shirt off revealing washboard abs.
"She didn't deserve you." I spoke.
"Yea.." Jack sighed, "I used to think that it was I that didn't deserve her."
"Why?" I asked sighing, turning to look at him.
"I don't know." He shrugs,"Maybe, it was the way men looked at her. Or the way I didn't, I didn't appreciate her love until she broke my heart."
Jack opened his beer bottle with his teeth and drank."No, she didn't deserve you. She was just selfish."
Jack turned his head to the side and smirked,"Selfish? How so."
"You worked late nights, staying at the office. I'm sure buying her anything she wanted, what did you get in return? Hm." I asked, "Divorce papers and a hooker giving you life lessons in your own kitchen. Life sure does throw you a lot of surprises doesn't it?"
"Your not a hooker Mila." Jack said lowly.
"Oh I'm not Jack? What'd you bring me up to your apartment to do? Actually watch me cook, or fuck me senseless give me the money and send me on my way? Men are cowards, selfish bastards, who take and give nothing back." I blurted.
Jack stared at me without blinking and he sighed softly. Boy was this man absolutely gorgeous. "Mila." Jack spoke, "I called you because I find comfort being with you, sex with you really is amazing but if I wanted to touch you. Or fuck you till you go limp, I could've. But I didn't touch you, your much more than what you do and I don't know who or what hurt you. But with me? Mila I will never hurt you intentionally or unintentionally. I got my eyes set on you."
"I'm just an escort and your a paying customer Jack." I sighed.
"Is that what you want me to do Mila? Fuck you and throw money at you, and kick you out my home. Your not a dog, your not property, and your not some cheap hooker, and nobody has the right to hold ownership over you." Jack says sternly,"Its sex trafficking and the motherfucker you work for is a pimp. Now can you start with the food please? My stomach is turning inside out."
Jack leaned back in his chair and smiled. "Actually I'm not really up to cooking." I respond crossing my arms.
"Take out?" Jack questioned,
"All you can eat buffet." I say, with a raised eyebrow.
Jack nods,"You got it."

"We look like an actual couple." I said to Jack as we walked in the parking, Jack has his arm around my shoulder. We got plenty of looks some from women who couldn't keep their eyes off of him.
"Can we get the booth by the window." Jack asked the Asian lady at the desk when we walked into the restaurant.
"Right this way sir."
"Pretty damn cool in here ain't it?" I asked.
Jack had one elbow on the table, with his hand holding his head up. "What?" I asked, taking a sip of the water the lady placed on our table.
"Your accent." Jack smiled, "Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking."
"Houston." I answered. "Where are you from?"
"All over." Jack responded.
I frowned,"What does that mean?"
Jack sighed,"My father was apart of the mafia. He was apart of numerous murders, drug trades, everything you seen on tv about the mafia was my grandfather, my uncles and my father. My dad was arrested and was hit with a lot of time in prison, he was going to be sent to rikers island and the only way he could get out of that was to take a plea deal."
"What was the plea deal?" I asked.
"Snitch on my grandfather, the Feds in Brooklyn wanted to sting my grandfather for the longest. But no jury in the world would convict Lugiano Bianchi except for my father. My father was able to record my grandfather spilling his guts out about murders back in 1929. So the FBI put us in witness protection, I was no longer Pauli Diani Bianchi I'm now Jack Lucas Russo. My uncles found us numerous of times we had to switch and relocate until we found peace here in Chicago."
I smirked,"What a interesting story. Is it true?" I asked.
"No" Jack smiled, "Actually my father was a traveling scientist, we moved around a lot from the time I was in my mothers womb till I was about seventeen when I emancipated myself, while my mother and father traveled the world I stayed here. Went to school, worked, went to college. Still worked. I guess that's why I'm well off."
I bit my lip and caught Jacks Adam's apple go down as he watched my teeth clasp onto my bottom lip. "Your a very interesting person Jack."
"Thank you so are you." He smirked, "So shall we eat until we're as fat as a hippo?"
"Yes we shall." I smile.
