chapter two. high and hot

Violet groans as she hits the ground with a thud. "There's just something about her," Sky says holding his hand out to the girl while he talks about Bloom. The group of three was busy sparing. Riven and Violet against Sky. You'd think two against one would make it better for them but they were still being tossed around like rags.

"Is it the red hair? Do you think she'll be crazy too?" Violet asks as Sky gets Riven on the ground. "He likes them crazy," Riven says as Violet ducks a blow from Sky before helping Riven up. "Gingers are nuts," he adds as Violet laughs before getting struck down by Sky causing Riven to follow.

"Hey! I'm a lady!" Violet says from her place next to Riven. "Yeah and I'm a lady too!" Riven adds. "Sure you are," Sky says helping Violet up. "You guys got slow over the summer," Sky says as Riven gets up. "No, we got high," he says, wiping himself off. "And hot," Violet adds as he dusts off her back. "I don't think I'm that dirty, Riv," she laughs, pushing him back harder than she thought she would, making him fall into the lake.

"Holy shit!" Sky laughs, throwing an arm around Violet. "I'm going to kick your ass for that," Riven calls as Violet laughs. "Oh my God, Riven is in a river," Sky leans his head on Violet's neck. "A dirty river. Get out of there!" Violet calls, as Riven pulls himself out of the lake. "Shit, if he drowned we would've had a bigger room," Sky sighs as Riven runs back onto the podium. "Well, let's have a celebratory hug to me not dying," he opens his arms looking over at his mates.

"No, you probably smell bad," Sky shuts his nose as Riven walks up closer to them. "But I love you guys," he says and Violet moves back. "Not today Satan," she exclaims, jumping off the podium and onto the grass as Sky follows and then Riven before he starts chasing them on the grass.
