Travel to Riordanverse AU
So, here's my next crazy idea (it is in the vein of a reveal AU, but instead it's world travel):
Scientists find this portal to what they call an etherworld, and basically this portal is not letting them go through. But they need to go through, to study this. Eventually the portal relents and tells them the name and address of these five teenagers, who are the only ones allowed through said portal. MC is one of these five teenagers. They travel through the portal, which gives them an etherworld kind of 'genes' you could say. They're all demigods now, but some are Greek, or Egyptian, or Norse. And anyways, they have to sneak in, gather info, send it back, for a whole month before they can go, without telling the people of etherworld.
