Evelyn Black walked across the hallway to the training grounds, black combat boots clacking against the hard linoleum floor. Suddenly, her platoon leader lunged at her from a room with the door cracked open. Evelyn was expecting it and deftly spun, turning to meet the leader. She ducked and spun again, kicking. However, this time the commander was exoecting it and grabbed Evelyn's leg, twisting. Evelyn fell but swiftly sude-stepped and punched her leader in the head. She grabbed her arms and legs and pinned them to the ground, then sat on top of the commander. " Well done, Black." The commander said, gasping slightly. Evelyn got up and held out a hand to help the commander up, but swiftly pulled it back when she tried to flip her. "Wonderful, Black. You win!" Evelyn smiled. "Thank you, Commander Dane. Have I won Zombie Week?" She asked, a British accent tainting her voice. Evelyn was British, after all, proved by her pale skin, black eyes, abd black hair. Commander Dane nodded and yelled, "Come on out everyone! Black won!" Commander handed Evelyn a bronze coin, with the word, "Survivor" on it. It was a medal of honor. "Now everyone, gun practice!" Dane yelled.
Clank, bang, smack, clank!
The sound of guns smacking against hands and tossing guns to each other rang out in the air. Evelyn tossed her gun to Gerald across from her, then recieved it back from Amelia. They tossed the guns up in the air, caught them, spun them, and tossed them to each other all in rapid-fire motion. They were the drill team. Suddenly, Commander Hunsen yelled, "On hand!" Everyone stopped the guns, caught them, and balenced them perfectly on thier left hand. "Toss right!" Hunsen yelled, and everyone deftly flipped the guns to thier neighbir on the right. "March!" Yelled Commander Hunsen, and they turned and marched foward, ending by lining up, guns clasped firmly to thier sides. "Very well, team. Now, to your assigned jobs!" Hunsen barked. They neatly deposited their guns in thier lockers, then marched off to thier assigned jobs. Some were sappers. (Bombers). Some were chefs. Some were doctors. And then there was the Air Force.
"Morning, Lieutenant Black."
The man and woman saluted as Evelyn passed by. Evelyn was a lieutenant of the Air Force, so when she was on air duty, other saluted her instead if the other way around. She nodded to them and got to the 2nd Lieutenant, the one right above her. She saluted and stepped into her own airplane, a sleek F-22 Raptor. It was a black stealth fighter, one of the best planes in the fleet. It was especially designed for combat and stealth missions. Evelyn climbed inside and donned her headphones and microphone.
