A couple of days later, Vlad, Ingrid and Lucinda were in the dining room eating breakfast. Their conversations were soon interrupted, when the doorbell rang. Not long after, Renfield walked in with a woman walking behind him with her bike.

"Master, it's a breather with what seems to be a metal horse" Renfield said, making Lucinda chuckle at the man. The woman looked at the children, and smile making the youngest Hemlock screw her face up.

"Oh hello. You must be Ingrid, Vlad and Lucinda. I'm Ms Harker, your new headmistress" Ingrid and Lucinda gave her tight-lipped smiles, while Vlad gave her an actual smile.

Footsteps were heard, making Lucinda turn to see her parents and the Count. The girl smiled at her parents, as the two gave her a kiss on the head.

"Morning, you all must be..." Ms Harker started to say, causing the adults to roll their eyes.

"I'm Perseus, and this is my wife Lydia. And this is Mr Count" Lucinda's dad spoke up, giving the woman a fake smile and quickly shook her hand.

"Ah yes, the Godfrey's and Mr Count. Now, i've had reports that your children have not been placed into school" The woman stated.

"Reports? What reports may i ask?" Lydia asked, looking to her daughter who also looked confused.

"Oh, I'm afraid i cannot answer that" The headmistress answered.

"Well whoever it is, we shall crush them" The Count cackled, but Ms Harker didn't look impressed.

"Now look, i don't know where you come from. But here, children must be admitted to school" Ms Harker stated sternly, then continued.

"And if they aren't admitted, well they'll be taken away" she said, causing an angry look to go threw Lucinda and Vlad's parents eyes.

"Oh really, what does it cost?" Count said, looking at Ingrid then to Ms Harker who frowned.

"Nothing, it wouldn't cost anything" she replied, looking at the Count as if he were crazy.

Well i guess you can take her. I still have hopes for the boy" this caused Ingrid to scoff and cross her arms.

"Now Mr Count, Mr and Mrs Godfrey, if you do not cooperate, you will be taken to court" Ms Harker threatened.

"Oh really? Taken to court. Now I'm really scared" Lucinda's dad laughed, walking towards his daughter.

"So pray tell, what is this so called court?" The Count asked the woman, causing Lucinda to speak up.

"Oh just a local equivalent of an angry peasant mob" this made the adults look at each other in fear.

After hearing that, the parents agreed for the two to go to school, including Ingrid. Lucinda put on her uniform, and the same tight she had put on a few days prier. Once she was ready, she met up with Vlad and Ingrid, who were waiting outside near the car.

When they got to school, they all noticed that the people started to stare at the car,

"This is so embarrassing, our first day of school and we already look like freaks" Vlad complained, making Lucinda nod her head in agreement. When the three got out the car, Ingrid walked towards the school, leaving the younger ones behind. The two saw Robin running towards them with a wide grin.

"Hi Lucinda, hello Vlad" He greeted, making them return the greeting as they walked into the school. Lucinda scrunched her face up, seeing all the students walking up and down the halls. Vlad saw this and laughed, catching her attention.

"You really owe me, Vladdy" she grumbled, gaining a laugh from her best friend.

"Wow so this is school?" Vlad said, looking around in awe. Robin and Lucinda snorted out a laugh, giving Vlad a really look.

"Yeah, it's sorta like prison" Robin replied, making Lucinda laugh and agree with his statement. The three stopped in front of what looked to be their lockers, and put their stuff away.

"Wow, my own private locker. Look at that Luci, we have our own lockers" The Dracula boy exclaimed excitedly, causing Lucinda to smile at his excitement. He looked so adorable.

Lucinda waited for waited for Vlad and Robin to finish their conversation, when they were done, the group walked to their first class, which was wood tech. The three sat together, and waited for the teacher to arrive. The Hemlock girl looked to her best friend, and couldn't help but smile when seeing Vlad looking around like a kid in a candy store.

A few minutes later, the teacher walked in and went straight to the front of the class.

"Settle down class. My name is Mr Van Helsing, and I'm here to turn wood into could. Now, I'm sorry that it feels cold in here, wither that or there's an undead presence in here" Lucinda furrowed her brows, thinking about how weird their teacher is.

As the class went on, Lucinda was disturbed when she felt a light nudge on her side. Looking away from here work, the girl looked up seeing Robin and Vlad fighting over something. Lucinda chuckled slightly, and went back to her work.

The bell finally went off, indicating that class was over. The Godfrey girl grabbed her things, and walked to her locker. As she was putting her stuff away, she saw someone at the corner of her eye. Turning, she saw a boy who looked around her age.

"H-hi, my names Jonathan. Are you new here?" he stuttered, making the girl give him a small smile.

"That would be correct. The names Lucinda Godfrey, It's nice to meet you" she replied, while shaking his hand.

Not too far behind the two, Robin and Vlad had just walked out from their class. Vlad stopped talking, when he saw Lucinda talking to an unfamiliar boy. He furrowed his brows, and felt a weird feeling appear in his stomach. In his mind, he didn't like seeing her talking to another boy.

"Hey, Robin. Who's that guy Luci's speaking too?" He asked his new friend, not taking his eyes off his best friend.

"Oh, that's Jonathan. He's Mr Van Helsing's son. He's in some of our classes actually. Why do you ask?" Robin said, looking to his friend who was glaring at Jonathan.

"Wait? Ar-are you jealous?" Robin asked amused, making Vlad snap his head in his direction.

"W-what?! N-no, why would i be jealous? Come on, let's just go to class" he grumbled, pulling Robin towards their next class.
