The next morning, Vlad woke up before Lucinda. When he was finished getting ready, the boy headed down to the dining area. When he walked in, the first thing he saw was a blender filled with slugs.

"Hmm, what would Master want for breakfast this morning. How does natural yoghurt and shredded leeches sound?" Renfield snickered, seeing the disgusted looks on Ingrid and Vlad's face.

"It sounds disgusting. Have you got anything that, oh i don't know, doesn't contain blood" Vlad said just as Lucinda walked in, dressed in her uniform. Vlad didn't look away, until he felt a kick to his leg.

"Careful Vlad, you don't want her to see you drooling" she snickered in his ear, causing him to look away and go bright red. Luckily Lucinda didn't notice his stares or what Ingrid had said, as she sat down next to the boy.

"Well, what a night we've had. Stop what you are doing, and prepare to be amazed" The Count said, then pulled out a rabbit from inside his cloak.

"Have you got a job as a magician?" Vlad asked his dad.

"No, you idiots. I've been out hunting. It's time you got your fangs into to some proper grub" The eldest Dracula said proudly.

"Dad, it's just a little baby rabbit" Vlad pointed at the fluffy animal.

"Ah, you want something bigger aye? Well tomorrow I'll bring you a goat" he said, placing the bunny in front of the boy. Lucinda awed at the bunny, and grabbed it while petting it.

"I'm not eating that! It's alive" The young Dracula exclaimed.

"Oh, don't worry Vlad. Every vampire get's first bite nerves. You just need some practice, until you're old enough to start on peasants"

"Now be a good boy, and bite the bunny" The Count ordered, pointing at the bunny that was in Lucinda's arms.

"I'm not biting the bunny! I'm not biting anyone!" Vlad yelled, which caused the Count to grow angry. The castle began to shake, and the sound of thunder crashing in the sky.

"You're a vampire. Start acting like one!!" The Count yelled.

"You should kick him out, dad" Ingrid beamed, making Lucinda roll her eyes at the teen.

"See Ingrid and Luci are vile, why can't you be like them?" He asked, looking at his son.

"Because i like being me. I like being nice!" This caused to the Count to let out a loud groan and rubbed his face.

"See this is what happens when you raise a child alone, they turn out good. What this boy needs is much more painful.....he needs a mother" this made the Dracula children to look at him confused.

"But I've already got a mother" Vlad stated in confusion.

"Yes, well. I need one that doesn't run away with a werewolf at the first sight of the moon light. You need a step mother" The man predicted, staring at the wall.

"And who exactly do you plan on marrying?"? Asked Ingrid.

"Hmm, I shall find a bride the traditional way. I shall throw a Hunt Ball" The Count laughed, clapping his hands.

Later in the day, it was lunch time at Stokely Grammar. Lucinda and Vlad explained what had happened that morning.

"So wat's a Hunt Ball?" Chloe asked.

"It's a fancy party with ballroom dancing, and dad can waltz around window shopping for a wife" Vlad explained, shaking his head not at all liking the idea of getting a step mum.

"A vampire party? Cool!" Robin exclaimed excitedly, as they chucked their food into the rubbish.

"Instead of going home, they hunt and feast peasants" Vlad said, as the group walked to their next class.
