It was like time has stopped and everyone either looked dumbstruck, socked or creeped out. But Oliver only felt hate and confusion. He blacked out for a bit wondering if he heard right.
'Well that was a fast turn of events' was what most of the peoples there thought.
"What the hell are you talking about man? Chill out. Are you still a kid or what?" Said Marius trying to break the awkward situation that he brought Oliver in. Looking back towards Oliver he could see this blackness in his eyes. Almost like he lost his soul and saw that his hands were shacking. "Are you ok Oliver? Don't listen to this guy. He seems nuts." Marius reached out towards Oliver trying to calm him down but it was to late for that. It happened to fast and no one reacted in time to stop what was about to happen.Oliver felt again the inner demon inside him. The one he forgot about but was always there even when he was little. Waiting for an opportunity such as this to break free. It was a killer's desires. A predator that was in a cage was about to escape and show the world a glimpse of humanity's dark side. Oliver took one step forward and grabbed Ravan by it's neck looking into his eyes and smashing his head over the metal fence the group was leaning on before he came in. There was an ornamental metal cross with a sharp tip behind the fence with some engravings on it that was describing the history of the church. Something that was there from as long as Oliver could remember. After smashing Ravan's head on the fence Oliver punched him with an uppercut that made Ravan going over the fence and impaling his chest on the tip of the sharp shaped cross. Everything after that was a blur of noise and panic. People were screaming at each others blaming one another. Most of them blaming Oliver overall. Some of them called the ambulance and the police. It was a mess. They were arguing if it was a good idea to remove Ravan from the cross or not. It seemed like the wound wasn't fatal but it could be. It was close to his heart after all. They were worried that it would do more harm then good but Ravan's parents were there as well and all his mother wanted was to take his son out of there. She was hysterically crying and yelling. His father was looking around trying to get some answer of how it happened and who did it screaming at the top of his lungs that he will kill that bastard however he is. Oliver was long gone. He panicked after realizing what he had done and run away in the increasingly large chaos. Looking at his trembling hands he was keep asking himself what just happened. No one expected for things to go that way and that fast. But life was unpredictable after all and anything could happen in a matter of minutes or seconds.
Oliver's parents looked devastated after discovering what happened and were blaming themselves because they were the ones who told him to come today. It was a long and cold night and it felt even colder for those involved in this tragic accident.
In the end the police and the ambulance had arrived and they carefully removed and took Ravan to the closest hospital and the police took Oliver's and Ravan's parents and a few of the eye witnesses to the police station for questioning while another team started looking for the main culprit that was on the run.
Oliver didn't know what to do or where to go. He just wanted a bit of time for himself to gather his thoughts and decide what to do next. He knew it wasn't the best decision to run away but he needed a moment. It was to much to take in at once all of a sudden. He run to the safest place he knew of...his home. Going to his room and dropping face first onto his bed he started recollecting everything that happened not long ago. First of all came into view the realization that Ravan was somehow pulling the strings.
'How did he do it. What connections did he have and how was he having them. And most importantly why was he doing it. He had nothing better to do with his life then to harass an old schoolmate? What made him reveal his doings in front of all those people? What were his aims in all of that. Why could I not control myself and was all this just a coincidence?' Many questions where coming and going trough Oliver's mind but there was no one to answer them for now. In the end he thought of what he should do next. He was sure the police would come and check his house in the end. Should he stay or run. Should he call the cops himself or walk to the police station? He realized that once caught he would be in the palm of the hand of Ravan's family. It seemed like they had someone very powerful with strong connections in their family otherwise Ravan would not be able to do whatever he wished. He would most likely either be killed or be in prison for the rest of his life. He didn't see much of the world. Most of the time staying at home. More so after finishing his college. He decided to go see the world even if it will be short lived.
'A little adventure before the end comes my way' he thought. Once decided he started packing his old bag with some food and water, a knife, a blanket, his wallet, matches and last but not lest toilet paper. He took all the clothes he needed on himself dressing with a couple of t-shirts one over another, a blouse and a jacket after. Two pairs of pants and his snickers. All of that thinking and resources gathering only took a bit over 10 minutes after he got home. Once he got outside he could hear the loud alarms of police cars not far from his house so he started running trough the back door and getting lost into the darkness of the night. Will he be caught right away or will he get a bit of freedom before being caged. He didn't know any of that but for the first time in his life he felt true freedom.
