the last hour of the day came euria dreaded this because of hawk, she slowly walked into the class and looked to see if hawk had her seat open and he didn't. he looked at her with such anger and shook his head turning around back to his friends, she sighed not knowing where to sit so she just stood there for a moment.
"hey euria, come sit by me" robby slightly yelled at her to snap her out of her daze. euria walked over and sat down next to him.
"thanks robby, i could've just sat at a random seat, are you sure i can sit here?" she asked he nodded his head, he liked that she always made sure it was okay to do something, it was nice to have that influence around.
euria looked at the teacher while he spoke, writing in her note book to take notes when a piece of paper hit her. she read it, "traitor, should've stayed away from him. now watch your back" - hawk. ". she was worried but didn't want to show it but robby noticed. euria's leg begun to shake up and down, hawk wasn't watching at this point. he was glad of what he did. robby turned to the side of him and slowly put his hand on her leg to help her calm down.
he whispered to her "are you okay? we can always ditch in the middle of class. do you want to go?" he asked, she nodded slowly, nervous because she didn't get what would happen to her or what hawk meant.
robby raised his hand "yes robby? what do you need?" the teacher spoke.
"can i take euria to my car she's having cramps and i have ibuprofen in there, is that alright?" robby asked, the teacher nodded letting them gather their things and let them walk out.
"so what happened? what made you panic? are you okay?" robby asked
"hawk threw this at me" she said handing him the piece of paper. "i don't know what he meant but i know with you guys it always involves physical pain" she says.
robby sighed reading the paper. "come on let's get out of here, i know what will calm you down" he said walking next to her to his car. they both got into his car and took off. euria texted her mom to let her know she won't be on the bus again. which her mom told her it was fine.
the whole car ride there was quiet like the other day, euria again didn't mind it. it felt nice but her leg was still shaking up and down. "hey we're here" robby says. euria opened her eyes slightly to see that he took her to the beach again, she smiled and got out of the car. they walked hand in hand to the water to walk along it.
"i'm really sorry for getting you into this mess" he says.
she laughed "it isn't your fault" she stops walking and turns to him, "sam told me to take a chance on being your friend, so i did and i don't feel wrong or bad or dumb for doing it. i like your company" she said looking at him.
robby smiled, it was the first time in a long time that someone liked his company. "well thank you for taking a chance on me" he says back. the both of them smiled at each other.
they sat down on the beach and watched the sun set. "this is so beautiful, god i wish i was a sunset" euria said.
robby looked at her surprised "what do you mean?"
"i wish i was as pretty as a sunset is what i mean" she laughed
"you are" he says with a smile
she turned to look at him, she was blushing and she didn't know what to say. she never been told that. robby looked at her, then looked at her lips. he smiled and flicked his eyes back up to her. he leaned in "tell me no if you don't want too", he kept going forward and euria didn't say no. she begun to lean forward slowly wrapping her arms around him, she attached their lips together and they slowly kissed. it was like there was love there but they weren't in love nor loved each yet.
robby slowly pulled away and leaned his head on hers. "wow that was, that was special" he says.
she smiled and giggled a bit "it truly was" she pecked his lips again and then pulled away smiling and they just watched the sunset together.
