time skip to a week later
tory's pov.
it's been almost half a week since she kissed euria. she dodged her at school the first day it happened and hasn't even tried to text her, but that isn't eurias fault that tory is ghosting her. tory has only dated one person and that was miguel, she's also had a crush on sam once before but never said anything. so she isn't out yet, she's also scared of heart break because of miguel cheating on her twice before. tory really likes euria but she doesn't want to ruin that feeling. she wants to talk to her, she wants to tell her that she's sorry but she doesn't want to give into a small crush she has. tory looked around at school and couldn't find euria for half of the week. it was like euria didn't come to school. "maybe i should go talk to her after class?" she says to herself. "maybe i should ditch and go over there" , "yeah that's what i'm gonna do, i'm gonna ditch next class and go speak to her" she continues on to herself.
an hour goes by and tory is finally able to leave and ditch the rest of the day. she walked out of the school when no one was looking and hopped into her car. she buckled up and speed out so no one will notice too fast. she slowed down once she got away from the school and turned on her music in the car to listen too on the way to eurias house.
few moments past by and tory arrived at eurias house, she smiled to herself hoping that she'll be able to fix what she's done, she got out of her car and up to her door step and rung the door bell. she waited a few moments till she heard someone trying to open the door. so she continued to wait another few moments. she ended up knocking again and finally someone opened the door.
"hello?" the girl said opening the door staring at tory up and down.
tory was confused and kinda hurt that a girl was there with euria and it wasn't her but she pushed it to the side "i'm sorry i thought my friend euria was here, i'll leave" she says to the girl.
the girl laughed "she's here, i'm her best friend kenna. i'm from new york" the girl smiled reaching out her hand to tory.
tory took her hand and shook it "i'm tory, if she's busy i can just come back later. it's nice to meet you" tory smiles at her
"don't be silly, she's not busy! you can come in. i'll go and get her" kenna says
tory walked into the house and waited down by the door as the girl went upstairs to get euria. tory looked around and sighed, she was nervous and didn't know how to explain anything to her. she held in her breathe for a minute and let it out the next. euria walked down the stairs and looked over at tory "hey, we can step outside if you want to talk" euria says to her. tory nodded and both of the girls walked out the door.
euria looked at tory and sighed "so what did you come here for? i mean you clearly don't want to talk to me" euria snapped at her.
tory understands her anger, she understood why she was upset and she totally deserves the snappiness. "i want to apologize to you, for ghosting you after i kissed you. for walking the other way when you tried to talk to me the next day and for not texting or calling you. i just i needed some time to figure out what to say to you. can we sit on the porch?"
euria nodded her head and both the girls sat down on the porch. "i was scared after i kissed you, i'm sure you know about me and miguel. being cheated on once and not knowing who the first girl was and then being cheated on again and knowing the girl it really fucks with you. miguel and i were close and we had a connection and i'm scared of having that again and getting hurt again. i'm also not out, i've only ever liked one girl for a short amount of time and never told anyone so yeah, i'm just scared and i'm sorry for what i did, i didn't mean any harm" tory spoke to her.
euria nodded her head towards tory and hugged her. tory was taken back and minute but ended up hugging her back. "it's okay. i mean it isn't because we could've talked about it sooner but i understand. i'm not out either, nor do i know what i am. i completely get being scared after being cheated on, i know what happened, miguel told me last week. you don't have to be scared with me i'm not gonna hurt you or try too" euria said to her
tory smiled at the girl and gave her a hug again. "do you want to come inside and meet my friend properly?" euria asked.
"no it's okay, spend time with her. i'm gonna get going." tory smiled and gave a euria a quick kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye hoping into her car and taking off.
