Chapter Ten!!! Final Chapter

I went up stairs and put on my two piece as Rodrick finished cleaning the backyard.

Greg had went to Rowleys to avoid cleaning a little while ago so we had the house to ourselves.

I slowly made my downstairs as I heard noises from the kitchen, but it was just Rodrick.

"Hey where are the towels?" I ask walking up to him with his back facing me.

"They are some in the laundry room middle cabinet." He stated hiding something from my eye line.

I looked at him skeptically for a few seconds before he responded.

"It's nothing, I promise I just got us some slices of cake." He said as he step away, showing two plates of cake on the counter.

"Oh nice." I walked over to the laundry room to get the towels to see him placing the cake at the table outside near the outdoor fire around the nice adult patio set.

He went behind the outside bar and where I meant him as he pour mines then his glass of wine.

"My parents really did upgrade the house once me and Greg left." He stated still surprise at his parents changes around the house.

"Your mom said it's because you and Greg broke everything in the house." I laughed before sipping my wine

He nodded agreeing. I set my wine glasses down
"Do you wanna sit down?" I asked as I already started walking to have a seat.

He followed behind me sitting in the seat next to me.

"What kind of cake is this?" I asked as I picked it up.

"Not sure but chew slowly just in case." He stated as he took a bite.

I looked at him questionably as I took a bite feeling something other than cake on the fork.

I spit it out onto a napkin.

"Ewww there was something in the cake." I whined as I looked back at the cake then the at the napkin.

"What is it?" I heard Rodrick ask as I continued to invest what it was.

It was shiny and silver. I look closely the. Stopped and looked at Rodrick.

He was trying to hide that goofy grin as he pretended to eat his cake.

"You fucking didn't-." I say as I pulled the ring out.
"Roooodrrriiick" I cooned as I leaned in to hug him. This is so pretty it had, I love you engraved on the inside of my (favorite ring design)

"It's a I love you ring. It sounds so corny but it's better than saying promise ring." He admitted.

"I went with my mom to a jewelry store a week ago, it was a his hers set see."

He showed me his hand and he took one big ring off to show the matching ring. I noticed that ring he's been wearing it all day.

"You see I loved you for a while now and I wanted it to be special when I told you. I love you Y/N" I was down there crying. I wiped the tears before sum fell but it wasn't any use...I cried.

He pulled me onto his lap as he hugged me.
"It's ok Y/N, you don't have to cry." He said rubbing my back.

"It's just that I love you too Rodrick." I said as I tried to stop crying. I felt his whole body stiffen.

"What's wrong?" I asked, it was like his mind just went to space.

"Rodri-?" I asked again he lifted both of his out the chair carrying my bridal style.
