^clothes they got^

i woke up and decided before school starts tomorrow im gonna go shopping with my fifty dollars i earned so i have more than the 6 outfits i own. after about five minutes of getting ready i realize i have no taste in fashion so i decide to call tamara to see if shes free to go shopping with me. i call her and the conversation goes a little something like this

"aye yo tamara!"

"aye yo kyle!"

"umm are you free to go shopping like right now"

"yea i guess cant you go alone though"

"yea i can but i have no fashion sense"

"fine you loser"

"okay ill meet you at your room in a couple minutes"

"bye"

"bye"

and thats about it and im just kind if strolling along to get to her room, when finally i reach the door and before i even get to knock.

"hey there stranger"

"omg are you psychic or something"

"clear-buoyant but close enough"

"i thought those were the same thing"

"maybe"

on that note we started walking towards the shopping center. it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the shopping center and lets just say we could fry eggs on the sidewalk... yeah maybe walking wasnt such a good idea

"okay so what are you looking for?" she said to me

"i dont know what do you think would look best?"

"well with that swoop haircut lets go with the classic hipster"

"what the heck is a hipster"

"ill explain later"

"okay..."

she then started throwing clothes at me left and right making sure they were in my budget of course when finally we have come upon a decision of a couple pieces. but you know not too many because of my small price range.

after we finish paying leaving me with $2.07 we walk to the on campus coffee shop i work at (mainly because i get food there for free) and we split a pistachio muffin while sipping some hot mocha lattes.
as i am eating my half of the muffin to look up to see tamara looking down at her phone kind of upset like.

"oh my god whats wrong? are you alright?" i say moving closer to her for sympathy

"im fine its just my dad"

"what happened" i say as i rub her back comfortly

"my dad he just... hates me"

"what do you mean?"

"he tells me all the time about how worthless and pathetic i am and how he only sent me here to get rid of me" tamara says while tears fall from her eyes

"who could hate you" i say drying her tears while looking into her eyes

before i know it she starts leaning in and turning her head. without thinking i do the same closing my eyes meeting my lips with hers. we move in sync for about 30 seconds. after we just kind of sit there for about 4 seconds of dead silence when she finally just kind of states thats shes going to the bathroom gets up and leaves. i wait for about five minutes thinking 'oh she might be having lady problems' after about 10 minutes i decide shes not coming back and just kind of leave too.

i walk back to my dorm to find my roommates actually there. thats a first. i dont really acknowledge him and just lay down on my bed to sleep. but u cant sleep all i can think about is that kiss. i didnt even feel anything. god damnit why didnt i feel anything. it didnt even feel special it just felt like to people smashing
their lips together.

after about 20 minutes of me thinking like this i finally fall asleep.

i wake up to a phone ringing me assuming its zylens i just keep still.

"hey dude you gonna answer that" zylen yells to me

"yea"

"well hurry up"

i groan and go to answer the phone

"hello"

"hey kyle did i wake you"

"yea who is this"

"its tamara"

"oh hey tamara whats up"

"im sorry for kissing you"

"why"

"because it was a mistake neither of us have feeling for each other... right"

"yea of course your right the kiss was a mistake"

"okay now you go sleep"

"okay goodnight"

i fell back asleep with one thought in mind. i felt nothing. it meant nothing.

see i told you it would be getting longer and more exciting. now now i know that the clothes they bought werent very realistic within price but its a book so anything can be whatever i want it to be
