Recap of the last chapter
Your mom looked at you and nodded, completely not buying it.
End of recap

For the past two days, you have tried your best to avoid Camilo. You stayed most of the time in your house pretending you weren't here when he knocked at your door, but he clearly knew you were actually in it.

You knew you couldn't keep that little game of yours for too long now, but you wanted to buy time.

You would do anything to avoid him another 2 days, so you wouldn't have to call him daddy, or at least, not be alone with him. You were also quite confused about your feelings for him, but that's something you'll think about later. You already called Solana to talk about it. She helped you clear some things, but you were still quite confused. That's why Mirabel texted you that she was coming today. You couldn't really try to escape this time. Dolores heard everything you said to Solana (of course duhh) and told Mirabel.

-time skip-

You heard knocking at your door and took all your time to open it. Mirabel didn't even lose one second of her time. She went into your house and dragged you by the wrist to your room. "We have some serious talk to do here girl," she said, really wanting to know more about what was happening. "First of all, what did Dolores tell you?" you asked, not wanting to tell something she already knew. It would also make you speak less. "She only told me that you may like Camilo" she shrugged.

You sighed, here we go. "Okay, so like 5 or 4 days ago, Camilo and I started a flirty war. It was just something dumb that we made for fun out of the blue. So like yes, we flirted for fun, well it wasn't any different for him since he always flirts, and then, something happened 2 days ago, that's why I've been trying to avoid him the best I can." "And no, I'm not gonna tell you what happened," you said noticing the look on her face.

She made her and the chair she was sitting on come closer to your bed, where you were sitting on. "Okay, so if I understood, you and my cousin started some weird type of war of fun. Then, something happened two days ago and now you're starting to question your feelings for him. Is that right ?" "Yeah" you simply said. "And now, why do you think you love my cousin?" Mirabel asked, excited to know more. "Well, I really like to hang out with him. He makes me laugh by being so stupid, he makes me feel special. As if I was the only one. I feel butterflies around him. I like his eyes, his skin, his personality, everything. He's like Isabela, but in a boy version in my eyes."

"You know I can't tell I understand you, since it'll be disgusting if I felt that around my cousin.." you chuckled at what she said "but I do know one thing, this is more than a crush you have here y/n. You should talk to him about it." you frowned. "What if he doesn't like me? What if he rejects me? I'll feel so embarrassed that I'll want to be locked in my room for the rest of my life. He's also my best friend and I don't want to lose him." y/n said, starting to get nervous. "Woah, woah, woah! Calm down here amigo." Your friend said, hugging you. "I'm sure he likes you too," she affirmed. "How do you know?" "He alw-" she was interrupted by something cracking outside your window.

Both of you turned your head to where the sound came from. And guess what it was? Camilo. Camilo was standing on a tree. He could hear everything since the window was open.

Your face went from sad to horrified in less than one second. Mirabel quickly stood up and turned towards Camilo "How much did you hear?" she asked worried, looking at you, then at Camilo again. "From the start.." he muttered.

He looked at you and that was enough for you to start running out of your room. Camilo fell off the tree and Mirabel didn't know what to do between coming with you or helping her cousin. She ran out of the house, to help Camilo. Mirabel decided that letting you have some space was the best idea. She went to the spot where Camilo was supposed to be, but he wasn't. She went back to the front of the house, and she saw him. He was running after y/n, who was heading into a forest. It was too late to stop Camilo now.

Mirabel headed back to her house to wait and see how it would end.

Well, well, well, looks like the chapter is finished. I really enjoyed writing this one actually. I thought that writing this story would be something I would force myself to, just to end up reading it from the start when it was finished so I could read something that had everything I wanted in a story. Guess that didn't turn out how I expected it to be huh? I'll start the next chapter tomorrow since I need to get some sleep. If I don't and wake up too late, my dad will remove my iPhone for the night 😟

Random Thought:
It could be possible that we don't live correctly. The 'day' could be the time when you sleep and the 'night' is the time when you're not sleeping. What if we were wrong and lived the wrong way the whole time? Nobody could actually tell.
