Mirabel head back to her house to wait and see how it would end

You were running as fast as you could, knowing that Camilo was running after you. You weren't that much of a fast runner, but you could manage. Your cardio, however, couldn't support much. You headed to a forest you used to go to when you needed to be alone. There was a lake, the water was always a bit cold, so you hoped that going in it would stop Camilo from following you.

"Y/n please wait!" He said, catching up slowly with you.

You still had a little bit to run before reaching the lake, so you gave up what you had all left and run faster. You didn't know why you were acting like this. It wasn't that much of a big deal, but you rarely had to deal with pressure, embarrassment, or a nearly broken heart, that you wanted to run till you collapsed.

You finally reached the late and jumped into it. The cold water was colder than in your memories. You weren't able to move for a moment, so you panicked.

CAMILO'S POV:
I was walking around the house, having nothing to do. Y/n was avoiding me for whatever reason, so I was bored. I decided to let her a little bit of time before I would force her to explain why. It wasn't really fair for me. I had enough, so I decided to go to her house. While heading down the stairs of my house, I saw Mirabel heading out of the house, looking as if she was going to become a detective or something like this. I thought it may be related to y/n, so I shapeshifted to a random person in the village and followed Mirabel.

As I guessed, she stopped at the front of y/n's house and knocked. I saw y/n opening the door and she looked tired. My cousin didn't even wait, immediately went in and closed the door. I saw a tree that looked stable near the window of y/n's room, so I climbed on it. Once I was close enough to hear them talk, I tried to hide, but I nearly fell, so I just lowered my body a little bit.

Everything went so fast, my brain couldn't process it correctly. Y/n looked at me as if her worst nightmare came true, my cousin was standing in front of me, a worried look on her face. "Since when are you here?" she asked. I felt a bit guilty. I shouldn't have done that, but I didn't know y/n had feelings for me. I also didn't want this to be the way for her to confess. I muttered, "from the start.." I risked looking at y/n and our eyes met. It wasn't a good idea since she ran out of the house. I messed up, again.

I started running too, but instead, I was falling from the tree. I forgot I was on it. Luckily I wasn't hurt, so I started running behind y/n. She was heading towards a small forest. I yelled "Y/n please wait" If only you could let me have the chance to explain myself...

I was catching up to her, but then she jumped into that lake. I was really worried since it was cold and nobody went swimming in it. I didn't go into it, having a really bad feeling about it.

3RD PERSON POV:
Y/n started swimming back to where she jumped. She was so cold that each move she did took her force. She made it and started running again. But her condition made her 'running' more seem like really painful jogging. I just want to be alone. LEAVE ME ALONE.
Camilo ran toward her and grabbed her by the waist. At that moment, she cracked.

You started crying and crying and crying. You didn't like problems. You didn't want to face them, you wanted to run away from them, thinking that they would go away, but they never did. You would always have to face them one day. Just like now.

Camilo made you both sit and you were in a position where you sitting between his legs, lying on his chest while he was using a tree as a support.

He was hugging you, whispering things in your ears, trying to make you feel better. "I-i'm s-so c-c-cold," you said trying to have more heat by hugging Camilo. You didn't even care about the bet and the nickname anymore. "Te quiero" was the last thing he whispered in your ear before you fainted with a faint smile.

Hey hey hey guys! How y'all have been? Hope you are all doing well.

I really like the way this story is going. I actually had nothing planned, no plot story, and no end. I improvised everything and I'm happy with the results.

Anyways I couldn't write earlier today since I was reallllyy busy (busy meaning watching and making tik toks)
