Jamie woke up the next morning and stretched. She smiled in content before looking at her phone.
7:45 am
She then remembered that Buster offered her an audition to join the Moon cast. So she got up and picked an outfit from her bag.

She showered, brushed the fur on her head, brushed her teeth, then got dressed. Overall, it took her about 30 minutes, which was when Johnny knocked on the bedroom door. She opened the bathroom door, making him jump a bit.
"You scared me, J," he said, catching his breath.
"Sorry," she giggled then said, "If you were coming to get me up for the audition, I'm ready now."
"I can see that," Johnny chuckled then added, "Well, breakfast is ready. When we're done, we'll head down to the Moon Theater. I already let my dad know."
"Sounds good," Jamie smiled.
They went downstairs and ate breakfast. It was relatively quick because five minutes later, they were out the door. Johnny held the door for her.
"Thanks," she smiled as she got in.
"You're welcome," he said before closing the door.
He got in the driver's seat, cranked the truck, and drove for the theater.
"So do you know what song you're gonna sing?" Johnny asked.
Jamie's eyes widened a bit then said, "Not really. Wow, go to an audition and you don't have a song prepared."
"Hey. Don't worry about it. Just think of one of your favorite songs to sing," he suggested.
"Okay," she nodded, thought about it, then smiled while saying, "I think I know the perfect one."
"Good to know and I can't wait to hear it," Johnny said, smiling at her.
They eventually made it to the Moon Theater where Johnny helped Jamie out of the car before they both went in.
Now Jamie was in awe of the new Moon Theater after the original collapsed after their last local show, so this one was just as awesome.
They entered the auditorium to see the other cast members on the stage.
"Hey y'all!" Porsha greeted, making them chuckle and the others look at them.
"Ah! There you two are!" Buster acknowledged.
"Hey guys," Jamie waved to them.
"So you ready?" Rosita asked.
"As I'll ever be," Jamie nodded.
"You're gonna do great," Johnny told her.
"Thanks," Jamie blushed.
"So Eddy will get you set up with what song you want to sing," Buster told her, pointing to Eddy backstage.
"Okay," Jamie nodded and headed that way.
She handed him her phone and told him what song she wanted. He then handed her a microphone and she thanked him before going onstage. Once ready, she signaled Eddy to play it and he did.
[Jamie:] "Uh huh! It's Jamie J! I got one more problem with you girl One less one less! Problem

When she was done, the others applauded her, making her hug herself with a shy smile before bowing.
"That was amazing, Jamie!" Ash said.
"Thanks," Jamie thanked.
The others congratulated her, making her hope it was good enough to be a part of the Moon cast. She never considered herself a great singer, but if they did, that would be enough validation for her.
