quick A/n :
i'm working on imagines so i'm sorry about not updating as much. this book was not planned at the very beggining but ideas started coming to my head so i wrote them down. i might end this book soon, because i am working on different stories that are actually fully planned.

-time skip-

Y/n was happy to be back home. she dropped her luggages on her bed and started unpacking. she made sure to do that first so she wouldn't have to worry about it later.

just then, kenny ran into her room. "we're going to the sandlot in 30" he said. she got ready, but in an outfit to play baseball. they were ready before 30 minutes so they both just headed to the sandlot and let their mom know before fully leaving.

they ran to the sandlot and all that was On Y/n's mind were the guys. she didn't even think of benny until she saw him at the batting area.

"Y/N?!KENNY?!!" ham yelled. everyone turned their heads and saw her and kenny. she saw smalls instantly run to her with a huge smile. "i've missed you so much!" then everyone was hugging me and kenny. "well what are you guys waiting for let's play!" smalls said.

benny was sitting in the dug out with the girl. we were all going to get a quick sip of our drinks then play. "who's that?" she asked. "this is Y/n, Y/n this is marty." bertram said. "oh hey Y/n. and your kenny right?" she asked him with a smile. "yep" he said.

"cool, let's go play!" marty said and ran to the batters box. "oh by the way, Y/n we're only having two people at the batters box now." she said in a 'nice tone'. Y/n just looked at her with a disgusted look and made her way to the outfield.

"psst! hello! Y/n!" someone was whisper yelling. she turned and saw phillips'. "phillips!" she lightly yelled and went to hug him."your mom kinda told me you were here" he snickered. "crazy huh?" "not really, i would've guessed that you would come here too"

she smiled at him. "anyways, wanna go hang out? like, right now if that's okay?" "maybe, hopefully the guys don't kill m-" suddenly they were yelling, "Y/N!!" "THE BALL" "ITS GONNA HIT YOU" the girl turned around and saw the ball coming towards her at full speed. by the time that she would have picked up her hand, it would have been to late. but thankfully she had a 'superhero' there.

phillips extended his arm and caught the ball, one- handed. "woah, thanks." "yeah of course angel" he smirked. "i would think that stuff like that would exist in only romance movies." she told the boy.
"i mean, we could make a romance movie if you want" he said and puckered his lips moving closer to the girl. "you wish" she joked and pushed his head back. "hey!" he laughed.

someone cleared their throat. "the ball please?!" one of the guys yelled. "oh yeah" phillips said and threw it, almost hitting marty at the batters box. "so close" Y/n mumbled. he chuckled. "why dont we get out of here?" he asked. "Sure" she finally said. 

phillips started walking out of the sandlot with Y/n following behind him. the boys got curious and started following them. 

"this is yours?' She asked phillips as he opened the car door for her, she thanked him. "its my dads old car. i wont have a new car until a couple weeks". he responded sitting down in the drivers seat. "its nice" she blurted. 

the boys were all surpised. "He can drive!?" ham said. "i guess she wont be here for today" Benny said. "geez, benny finally talked! i guess seeing Y/n had a bad side effect on him" ham said once again. "yeah yeah man, you must be stunned by how pretty she got" Yeah yeah joked around. he saw him stare at her for a good 3 seconds until marty pulled him away. "i sure did" squints joked. "who cares about her right now, lets just go back to playing." marty complained and started walking off. kenny was bothered by that.

everyone got back into their positions they were in before. marty was up to bat again. she kept missing the balls. "cmon kenny!  pitch better." she told him. "just accept the fact that you suck." kenny yelled at her causing the guys to laugh at her.

                                  a week later

benny has been over thinking about everything hes been doing to y/n. and just to put a cherry on top of all his problems school was starting tomorrow again. they had a week off because someone decided it would be a great idea to release a poisonus spider. 

 it was going to be prom next week. Y/n wasn't able to see phillips in the past  3 days since he was going to be gone for a month, since his moms sister wasn't feeling well and was dying. they had to fly out to florida. benny had enogh time to apologize to y/n and he was thinking of a way.

"how about some flowers? chocolates? i dont know" benny had asked marty. " just get her nothing. she dosent deserve you".  benny didnt agree with that so he asked marty is she could please leave. once she left he invited kenny over and explained everything to him. they started brainstorming ideas

" i cant believe were doing this for her" kenny joked. suddenly an idea hit him, " what if you ask her to prom!" kenny yelled. benny agreed and he was now thinking of a way how to say sorry to her. after that,him and kenny were just chilling.

Y/n was sitting with her friends at the lunch tables until one of the football players came up to their table. Y/n had a crush on him last year but those feelings quickly left. he had a big paper and a bouquet of red roses in his hand.evryones head was turned to her table. "Y/n, i know we dont really talk but your a very pretty and kind girl. Would you like to go to prom with me?" he asked her. " sure" she smiled.  everyone clapped. he was good looking so it wouldnt hurt. he handed her the roses and thanked her. 

he said that he would pick her up 30  minutes before it would start. benny felt bummed. mart walked up to him and hugged him from behind. "its okay benny-boo you can go with me" she said and walked off.
