Royal Rumble Pt. 1

Well, tonight is the night.

The Royal Rumble is one of my favorite pay per views ever!

Roman and I would watch all the old Royal Rumble matches when we were kids.

Watching ones like Bret Hart, Lex Lugar, Hulk Hogan, Yokuzuna and many others winning was always a fun experience.

Now even though there is no womens Royal Rumble (ahem, not yet Lelani) it's pretty exciting to be a part of the the event.

For the kick-off, there was a fatal fourway tag team match. Whoever won the match, both of them would be entered into the Royal Rumble.

And when it was all said and done, Jack Swagger and Mark Henry won. So they will be added to the Royal Rumble.

The other match of the Kick-off was Jinx and Leona vs Ashley Strong and Dj Austin.

Jinx and Leona were actually able to work pretty well with one another. They were as if they've never fought each other.

Leona and Dj fought the most in the match and that was only because Jinx and Ashley ended up fighting each other on the outside of the ring. Dj almost got the win, but Jinx was able to save Leona for the count of 3.

Jinx dragged Leona to their corner, moved so she was on the outside of the ropes, and tagged herself in.

It was a pretty good match. Lots of back and forth action happened. Submission holds, and pins happened. Jinx and Leona were able to go back down to their roots of when they were with Bray.

Leona ended up getting hurt while she was in the ring, and and she tried to shake if off, but the oblivious limp was hard to hide.

Of course, Ashley had to blindside Leona, and that caused Jinx to snap. So she grabbed Ashley and gave her a sister Abigal, then dragging Leona over so she was on top of Ashley, picking up the win for the both of them.

Jinx helped Leona up, and they shared a big hug. Needless to say, the sisters are back on the same page.

Jinx supported Leona up the ramp, and once at the top, they were both met by Bray, Erik, Luke, and Braun.

Bray put his hand on Jinx's cheek, and he welcomed both girls into the family. Braun, being the biggest, he lifted Leona Bridal style so she can go get her injury checked out.

The first match of the night was Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match for the Intercontinental championship.

And once the bell rung, the fight was on.

The rules are simple. There are no Disqualifications. You can use anything as a weapon. The only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent to the point where they cannot get up to the count of 10.

The fight went outside of the ring, and it ended up with Dean being tossed right into the barricade, making him fall to the ground with a thud and groan.

The ref started his count, but Dean got up and into the ring before the count of 10.

This caused Kevin to yell and scream in his face, and that caused Dean to jump and start punching Kevin.

So many close calls. Lots of chairs in the ring, maybe about 10 or so. One broken table in the corner of the ring, two tables stacked on top of each other by one of the ring posts, and two wrestlers who are just barely getting up before the count of 10.

Both men are getting worn out, and both are getting tired. But both men have not and will not give up.

Dean is the one who lives for this kind of thing. He enjoys pain. And when his adrenalin is going, he doesn't know when to stop.
