"You have to drink it," Candice snarled at the poor Mt Thrasher boy who looked barely eighteen.

"He looks like he's gonna chuck," Gracie smirked.

"Come on Seth," Isaac cheered at the boy who had now turned green.

The boy sculled the drink and Mt Thrasher erupted into a cheer. They were out the back in the beer garden and had just finished playing a game of beer pong. Now they were finishing jugs, competing between them.

"My turn," Lucie said as she pushed to the front and grabbed the jug from Benny.

"You're on," Isaac said as he made his way to the front and grabbed the other jug on the table. He looked at Lucie and raised his eyebrows, she responded by flipping him off.

"Three! Two! One!" Everyone called.

Lucie began sculling, she was fast but she could feel herself getting sick. Her head was spinning and she began to feel very hot and flushed. Gracie seemed to notice because she reached out and touched her shoulder, giving it an affectionate squeeze of reassurance.

Isaac finished and everyone cheered. All eyes were now on Lucie.

Lucie pulled back for a second for air.

"Finish it!" Someone from Thrasher yelled. Lucie breathed out, staring at the jug.

"Don't push it," Candice said concerned.

"She has to," A Thrasher girl yelled mocking Candice's tone from before.

"She doesn't have to finish," Isaac slurred shrugging and placing his empty jug on the table.

"Yes, she does you Falls sympathiser. It's the rules, you drink or you lose," the captain from Thrasher said folding his arms in front of his chest.

"She's had enough Jack," Isaac said.

"What's wrong with you?" Jack responded to Isaac, "You like her or something?"

"No!" Isaac protested holding his hands out in front of him in defence.

"What you spend one-afternoon snowboarding together and you're ready to throw it all in!" Jack said, "For a Falls girl?" Everyone started yelling then, the Mt Thrasher people yelling at the Falls people and vice versa.

"We didn't-" Isaac started.

"We all saw you," a girl said from next to jack putting her hands on her hips.

"That was nothing," Lucie said, she had had enough of this conversation and she could tell her friends were confused, she had not told them about today. Lifting the jug to her mouth Lucie finished the drink off like a champion.

"That's how we do it at Falls!" The falls team cheered, as well as the locals who had gathered after hearing the Mt Thrasher people outwardly bag the Falls snow team. A protective jacket of Falls locals had surrounded the group.

"You still lost," Jack said stepping towards the Falls team, his shoulder-length hair knotted into dreadlocks.

"She finished the jug," Ross said moving towards him, "you said nothing about who finishes first."

"It's a race," Jack spat, "I thought it was common sense that whoever finishes first wins?"

"She lost, Isaac won, now maybe she can keep her slutty hands to herself and leave him alone!" The girl next to jack said making the Mt Thrasher team laugh in response.

"What did you call her?" Gracie asked standing up, "did you just call my sister a slut?"

"So what if I did? She manipulated Isaac into helping her, who knows what else she manipulated him into doing?" The girl sneered. Lucie's eyes fluttered to Isaac who looked in her direction frowning.

"Oh, that's it!" Candice said walking her way over to the girl and slapping her in the face, "You don't get to call Lucie a slut and get away with it!" The girl stepped back in shock but then leaned forward grabbing Candice by the arms.

"Fight!" Someone yelled as a sea of people turned at each other. Benny laid into jack putting a big one in his jaw. Ross joined in. Soon it was just a mix of people throwing drinks, punching one another and screaming.

Lucie stumbled away from the group the room was spinning too fast. She could hear people yelling and screaming and just wanted them to be quiet so she could think clearly. She needed something to lean on or sit down on. Her hair was in her face and everything was going too fast. When she closed her eyes it only got worse so she forced herself to keep them open. She didn't bother looking back to the crowd, she knew they were all still fighting.

"Lucie?" Isaac asked coming up to her as she neared the door to the main pub building.

"Just go away Isaac," she pushed him away and walked straight into a tall man.

"Ow", She lifted her head and cringed.

"Scotty?"

Scotty stood with his arms crossed and his brow furrowed, an equally unimpressed man was standing next to him wearing the same Mt Thrasher jacket as the team.

"Oh shit," Isaac sighed running his hands through his hair.

Lucie couldn't hold it in anymore and quickly ran to the bush nearby, holding her hair back she emptied her guts. She shuddered as she heaved out her good dinner, her eyes brimming with tears.

"ENOUGH!" Scotty bellowed.

The fighting stopped immediately as everyone turned to look at the two men, their faces visibly falling as they sensed the amount of trouble they were about to be in. Scotty and the man walked up to the group.

"Falls mountain racers to the clubrooms immediately!" Scotty yelled sternly, "Gracie get your sister home."

"Thrashers to the accommodation, NOW!" The other man yelled, if it was possible, he looked angrier than Scotty.

Quietly the group dispersed, everyone with their heads between their knees.  Lucie sat on the floor by the bush she had just vomited in, she could not bring herself to look up and face her coach, team members and the enemy. Gracie grabbed Lucie by the arms, pulling her up onto her feet and led her back inside the bar and towards wood street.
