"Morning sunshine," Anna called as she walked into Lucie's room. Lucie groaned and rolled over. She was so tired. Anna opened the curtains letting the morning sun stream in through the windoes, Lucie groaned in response.

"Time to get up, you have training this morning," Anna sat down and stroked Lucie's cheek, "Scotty said you would all be tired after last night."

"ugh" Lucie responded.

"What were you thinking Lucie Lou?" Anna sighed.

Lucie didn't respond. Anna shook her head and stood up.

"Water," Lucie murmered.

"You can have some water when you come upstairs, so come on," Anna said cheerily before walking into Gracie's room and giving her the same treatment.

Lucie sat up and rubbed her eyes. The sun that was streaming through the window was hot, it was going to be a good day weather wise. Lucie pulled back the covers and looked down at herself, she was still wearing her clothes from last night. She stretched her arms out in front of her, then behind her. Her mouth tasted foul so she stood up and stumbled to the bathroom. She sat down on the toilet and began brushing her teeth. The cold water and the refreshing taste of peppermint was enough to earn a sigh of relief from Lucie. Gracie wondered in grabbed her own toothbrush and sat on the bath opposite Lucie. Gracie's hair was very messy, her makeup was smuged on her face and she too was still wearing her clothes from last night.

"Mmmph" Gracie said.

"Mmmph" Lucie responded.

The two stumbled upstairs and were greeted by thier parents and a full breakfast buffet which only made Lucie run down to the bathroom, the smell of egg too strong for her weak stomach.

"Big night?" George smiled sheepishly, peering above the newspaper at Gracie who offered him a smile with her mouth full of toast.

After a good feed, lots of water and a warm shower, Lucie and Gracie were feeling much better. They made their way to the race club, avoiding direct sunlight. Lucie wearing her ski googles over her face.

"Morning ladies," Scotty said as he saw then walk in, "how ya feeling?"

"Not so fresh," Gracie sighed walking straight to the locker room.

"Have been better," Lucie sighed. Sensing Scotty had to talk to her she paused in front of him.

"Ross told me what happened last night Lucie, and I've informed Tim about his teams actions. They will be punished and I will expect an apology from them soon," Scotty said, "are you okay?"

"I'm fine, it was just a misunderstanding," Lucie said shrugging, "You know how team rivalrys work."

"You come to me if they give you any more trouble okay?" Scotty warned, shaking his head in disgrace. He had known thier was always tension between teams, it would be stupid of him to not know. He had been in the buisness for a long time, and even when he was a member of the competing team himself the rivalry had existed. He just never thought it would get physical, at least not on his watch.

"Of course," Lucie nodded as she walked into the locker room after her sister. Silently they both got dressed into thier ski gear, the rest of the team mustve already been out.

Training went quickly that morning. During lunch spirits were down after last night. They sat in the teams common area, perched on the bean bags, eating their pre packed food.

"What do you have?" Benny asked leaning over Lucie's shoulder. Benny was known to be the ski clubs seagul, he always scabbed food off other people.
