Y/n can feel something hot on his chest. He forced open his heavy eyes. His heart skipped a beat when the warm seelie moves around.

Y/n took the seelie on his hand and put it on the ground. He take a look around him.

There was a knife, y/n's bag, and his delusion right next to a real vision.

But how did it get there? Y/n couldn't seem to remember anything. He forced himself up. He struggled to control his legs but the foreign feeling disappear soon after.

He headed for Eula who is sleeping soundly while hugging her knees.

Y/n was reluctant at first, but he decided to go for it.

"Hey. Wake up" he said and shakes Eula.

"Don't touch me" Eula said in a low voice. Almost as if she was sad about something.

"We can't stay here for long. We have to leave now" y/n said again.

"Just go by yourself. I won't be any of help either way" she replied.

"Just get up! There's no point in sitting around doing nothing like an idiot" y/n scolded.

Eula tightens her hug on her knees.

"I told you to go alone right? Then just do it" she said slowly getting angry.

"You're just making an excuses" y/n exclaimed.

"I won't be any of help to you. I couldn't even save one person. I'm a pitiful human" she cursed herself.

Y/n forcefully grab her hand and separated it from her face.

"What's wrong with you? Pull yourself back together. You didn't do anything wrong" he said to her face.

Eula got eyebags. Her face seems tired. She looks simply pitiful.

Eula tried to avoid y/n's eyes as she struggled to break free from his grip.

"Look at me!" Y/n said to her.

"What is it that you want!?" Eula shouted. But she was struck with silence when her eyes met y/n's.

"Feeling better?" Y/n asked.

"...You're alive" she muttered.

Y/n frowned.

"You said it as if you're hoping I don't" he said.

But Eula ignored his remarks.

"You're actually alive" she continued.

"Yeah I sure am. Breathing and not dying" y/n agreed to her.

Eula's hands gently carressed his face. Almost as if she was touching a fragile glass.

"Hey. It tickles" y/n said. Then Eula hugged him tightly.

"You are alive. You're still here" she said slowly.

Y/n was taken by surprise and didn't say anything.

"I actually thought. That I might lose you" she sobbed.

"I really thought you left me" she added.

Y/n breaks off from the embrace. He looked at the tears formed on the corner of Eula's eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about. But we have to leave this place now" y/n said to her.

Eula frowned at his remarks. Then she wiped off her tears.

"You won't even spare me some time to console myself" she said and get up on her feet.

"You weren't raised that way" y/n said and took his sword.
