It was after a less than successful mission in the spade kingdom, the captains were saved but Lucifero or at least part of him was out. The magic knights were forced a retreat with Asta and a handful of Knights buying time. After 3 hours most of the evac was complete all they were waiting for was Asta he ordered his friends to leave him behind, after learning the truth behind Liebe's hatred of devils especially Lucifero.

He was fuelled with rage and completely gave himself to Liebe sort of like a rent a body. He could still talk but the fighting was all Liebe. After what seemed like forever Asta, Liebe and the Demon king were gone.
