After Asta sprints out of the guild, Team Natsu spreads out to look for him, Team A is Natsu, Happy with Juvia, Team B: Lucy with Wendy 'n' Carla, Leaving Gray with Erza, all teams told to contact the rest of the group when they find him.
with an open comm Natsu questions how someone like Asta could move so fast, Juvia asks why the dragon slayers haven't caught wind of his scent both slayers admit that wierded them out,
Gray or Lucy put out the idea maybe Asta used some sort of spell but Erza shuts it down telling or reminding them of his Grimoire thing then puts out an idea that he doesn't have scent to hone in on, Natsu shoots it town telling her that's dumb even for him no offence of course, Happy makes a snappy line ('cause it's Happy it'd be wierd if he didn't) Natsu chucks it up to neither slayer thinking they'd need to track him.
The slayers get Happy, Carla to search from up top. Each team asks around giving descriptions: Short, White Hair, 1 arm, black Headband... kinda loud. After hours of searching they meet in town square, being exhausted Natsu asks again how he (Asta) can get around so fast, they all come up with ideas for what magic he might have. Gray: Memory manipulation? Natsu: wind magic? Lucy: Teleportation? Erza: Sensory nullification? Carla: Persuasion? Juvia: Shapeshifter? Happy: Light magic?
After 2 hours of searching they find nothing. Most of the team gives up and head back, all but Natsu and Erza who stay behind and keep looking.
Natsu: I'll say it again: how can that shrimp be so fast?
Erza: complaining won't make finding him any easier
Natsu: I know I'm just bored.
30 mins pass and it's almost sundown
Erza: you'd think we'd catch onto his Mana by now
Natsu out of breath: that's it I'm done, sorry Erza but I think we need to find the possibility that he's not in Fiore
Erza: no it doesn't seem like him
Natsu: what do you know? We just met the kid, he could be a bandit for all we know.
Erza: he's not a bandit, he doesn't give off that kind of feeling.
Natsu gave her a dead panned look
Erza: alright I could've phrased that better.
Natsu: we'll look for him tomorrow I gotta turn in, but I'll give him credit: the kid can run.
???: looking for someone?
They turn to see a man with short dark blue hair, a red facial tattoo and dark blue body armour.
Natsu: oh hey Jellal
Erza blushed
Natsu: yeah, we're looking for someone, don't suppose you've seen a kid today; about somewhere between mine and Wendy's height give or take, jacked or buff, spiky white hair, green eyes black and red head band with a golden bull skull on the side, white tank top (singlet) blue pants, brown boots, weird looking holster thing on his belt,right arm missing, he's kinda loud.
Jellal: oh you mean Asta? Yeah I found him.
They head back to FairyTail HQ
Erza: you know Asta?
Jellal: yeah I ran into him a while ago, said he was lost and gave a perfect description of you.
Erza sighs frustratingly
Erza: do you know where he is?
Jellal: sorry the last I saw him, he asked me to buy a sword for him, then he ran off. Looked like he was looking for something.
