Reed reacted first, hiding Casey's face into the crook of his neck, fumbling to cover their bodies with the sheet."What the fuck, Emmit!" Reed snapped, seeing his best friend's eyes widen and his face turn awfully red when he took in the scene in front of him.
Emmit didn't say anything else and slammed the door back shut.
Reed didn't realize how tight of a grip on Casey's hair he had until his hand began cramping. Casey's cock, now pretty much limp, slid from Reed and he visibly trembled from the shock of what just happened. His elbows were encasing Reed's head and he hid his own against the redhead's neck and shoulder.
"Casey," Reed whispered, tapping his shoulder gently. "Casey get up," Reed murmured, brushing a hand through the brunette hair.
Casey hesitantly lifted himself from Reed. He kept a sheet covered around his body and sat at the end of the bed.
A singular tear rolled down his cheek, darkening the sheet.
"Casey," Reed frowned, sitting up and moving to the end of the bed with him. "Casey, don't cry, it's okay."
"You think he saw who I was?" Casey whispered, looking up at Reed.
Reed wouldn't lie. His heart clenched at those words. He knew Casey wasn't ashamed of him, but it sure felt like it.
"No, he doesn't know who you are, baby." He leaned forward and planted a kiss to Casey's forehead. "I'm assuming you're going to stay in here while I go figure out why he's here?"
Casey only nodded.
Reed pursed his lips with a sigh and stood up. He threw on shorts before limping his way painfully out of the room since he didn't have his crutches. He made sure to close the door behind himself again, to make Casey feel more at ease.
"Get me the crutches," He demanded, stopping after a couple of steps. When Emmit hurriedly gave him them, he used them to go to the kitchen.
"Why the fuck are you here right now?"
"Well... you never fucking told me you were hurt and I had heard from someone else. My bad for wanting to come to check up on you." Emmit looked aggravated now.
Reed couldn't be angry at him. Sure; he was disappointed he and Casey were interrupted, but he should've let Emmit know he was injured. "Fuck," Reed groaned, running a hand through his damp hair.
"Who was that?" Emmit asked after a moment, looking at the bedroom door.
"Don't worry about it," Reed mumbled. "I'm kinda busy... do you need anything else? How'd Owen doing?"
"Owens sleeping right now. That's why I came over. But yeah, glad your okay. Just a sprain I'm assuming?"
Reed nodded. "Yeah, a sprain. I'm out for a few weeks. Um, he's been helping me around and stuff," Reed admitted, hoping Emmit caught the hidden meaning behind his words. And when his friend's lips turned into a smirk, Reed's cheeks heated with a blush.
"Whoever that was... he had a nice ass."
"Back off, Emmit," Reed mumbled, narrowing his eyes. "Now leave fucking leave, cock blocker," he glared at him.
Emmit laughed. He went off with a "good-bye" while mumbling something about "Owen's cute ass."
Reed crutched his way back to his room with a long sigh. Opening the door, he didn't bother closing it again.
Casey was still sitting in the same spot as before, and he was thinking hard. His facial features remained stoic. However, he looked at Reed when he walked in.
