Forevermore

In a way the Mayan's were right, we just jumped to conclusions. The world as we knew it did end on December 21, 2012 but not how we expected it.

There was no nuclear bomb or any other explosions whatsoever. No fire burning everything down, no ice freezing everything, no aliens, no floods, no earthquake's, no twisters, nothing. The Earth did not reclaim itself from humans; but something that people either consider just a nuisance or worse than world destruction.

Vampires finally came out of hiding. The first sighting's were one December 21 but that was only two or three. Slowly the rest came out of hiding as well displaying their dominance over all other species. Eventually they took over everything: the businesses, factories, farms, industry's and even the government. But it's actually not that different from the Change, countries stayed the same and kept their government's. Sometime's we can actually forget that the vampires are controlling everything; that is until you go out at night and have to watch your back.

That brings me to another thing about vamps, their actually not nocturnal. They can walk out in the light just like any other person without being affected by the sun. Although attacks are most common at night than in the day; but if you think about it, don't almost all attacks happen during the night.

The only time when we remember that the vampires control every aspect of or lives is when we do something to upset. Although all the countries still have their original governments from before the Change the vampires have a monarchy that runs the whole world from behind the scenes; we only hear from them when we upset them.

It's the year 2112 and there's been lots of other changes besides the vampires. For one the technology advanced; we're not to the point of hover cars and time machines yet though. The technology we have now made the twenty-first century look like the nineteenth. Scientist have made loads of discoveries but i wont boor you with the details.

Gay rights were finally legalized and Global Warming was just narrowly stopped thanks to the new, cleaner technology. All types of books can now only be accessed on tablets and e-readers. And now their really is an universal language that everyone is taught to speak--English, since every vampire knew it they decided to make it the universal language. so no more worrying about getting a translator or learning foreign languages to travel to other places.

This is our world now, for better and for worse. No one believes that we can change it so no one tries! But maybe, just maybe, that'll all change-- that is if i don't die first.
