"I wouldn't go down there if I were you."

Stiles backtracks as he walks into Elijah's office. "And why not?" He asks her as he watches the girl flip through a magazine. "Because my mom and Zoe are downstairs." Hope mutters and rolls her eyes when she hears a crash, "It was supposed to be a nice little talk but we are Mikaelsons." Hope mutters as she stands up walking over to Stiles.

"What's happening down there?" Stiles asks Hope. "My guess is my dad told my mom about you two moving here at the wrong time. You know my mom lost her husband last year, right?" Hope asks Stiles, "It's been almost a full year since he passed. It was hard for her to lose a soulmate-"

"What?" Stiles interrupts Hope, "She lost her soulmate?" "A soulmate." Hope told him, "Elijah is her other one but he let her go when Jackson came into her life. It kinda burned a bridge in the family but the two got over it because we are a family."

Stiles couldn't listen to Hope anymore so while she kept talking about a family secret, Stiles walked out of the office as he quietly stood at the bannister listening to the fight below him.

"This is my home too, Hayley! You can't just claim a city!" Zoe yells at the older hybrid. "You can't just come back here after a year and pretend to have the perfect life! That nothing happened last summer!" Hayley yelled back at her.

"I'm not pretending! I was there! I know what we went through but this could – this could be a brand new start. I get it, okay? Losing a soulmate is hard but just like you lost Jackson, I can't lose Stiles. You chose him and this me choosing. This is me trying." Zoe threw her hands up in the air. "Did you even tell Stiles about what happened?" Hayley asked the girl, "Because what's going to happen when a witch comes out in the name of him and threatens us? You have a way to cover up that up?"

"Then do it right now." Hayley whispers as he eyes glance up to Stiles Zoe follows her eye sight to see Stiles staring down at them. He lifts his hand causing Zoe to do the same. She quickly turned around to face Hayley and the older hybrid couldn't tell what her face was full of. "I don't want to lose him. So if you need time to make your decision if you want us here or not, take it. I don't want to ruin my second chance."
