"Grow up!" is what they told me
but I pretended not to hear.
Telling stories, having fun,
I'd rather stay forever young.
Time is not evasive,
adulthood is drawing near.
"I don't want to grow up!"
is all that they will ever hear.
However, a sudden visit has changed me;
an opportunity appeared.
Neverland doesn't seem so far,
eternal youth on a distant star.
Motherhood is what I learned,
an adopted family I have found.
Seven boys and a pixie too,
my brothers and I have been renewed.
Neverland has brought me much,
and maybe I will grow.
But Peter Pan has taught me this:
to never let my imagination go.
