'I kissed a girl and I like it'
☽︎•☾︎Katie was removed to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries the following day, by which time the news that she had been cursed had spread all over the school, though the details were confused and nobody other than Diana, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Leanne seemed to know that Katie herself had not been the intended target.
"Oh, and Malfoy knows, of course," said Harry to Diana, Ron, and Hermione, who continued their new policy of feigning deafness whenever Harry mentioned his Draco-Is-a-Death-Eater theory
Diana wondered whether he would stop insisting on the topic soon. His beliefs annoyed her the most, and had obviously ruined their seeming-to-improve relationship. Diana barely stayed with him in the study room when he arrived after her, although he always tried to convince her to stay. When she accepted – not that it happened frequently –, she would tell him to shut up every time he opened his mouth, just hoping for him to forget about it and leave everyone alone.
When Harry left for his second lesson with Dumbledore on Monday evening, Diana, Ron, and Hermione almost felt relieved.
"I hope he lets go off of it someday," sighed Hermione as soon as the portrait swung close behind his back. "It's starting to get on my nerves"
"I'm surprised it hasn't yet," commented Ron. "I mean, Diana completely lost it the other day during Potions, remember?"
Diana shrugged, "What was I supposed to do? Draco has always been like a brother to me, and Harry and I aren't even friends"
Hermione exchanged a look with Ron. They smiled and shook their heads.
"What is it?" asked Diana.
"You completely sure you're not friends with him?" said Ron, raising his eyebrow in disbelief.
Diana frowned.
"Yeah?" she said. "I mean, I think so"
Hermione looked up from her book with an amused expression, and said, "Do you really think we don't know about the two of you spending the nights in the locked study room?"
Diana's stomach almost did a somersault. Her eyes widened.
"How did you know that?"
Ron snorted and looked at Hermione, "See? Told you she would tell us soon"
Hermione smiled towards him and turned to Diana once more.
"He told Ron when you had met there for seven days in a row," she explained. "And Ron told me weeks ago"
Diana looked at Ron.
"You're a bloody traitor," she said, frowning.
"No, Harry is the traitor," replied Ron, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. "I bet you told him not to tell anyone or somewhat, didn't you?"
