Jen&Dav [behind closed doors]

chapter 6.

"Oh, uhm, yeah. Come in..." she said opening her door more.

JENNIFER

"Are uhm.. are you sure this is a good idea?" he asked. "Oh... no don't worry, we'll just talk" I chuckled and smiled. He made his way into my room and I closed the door. "So, I talked to Court and she gave me an advice, that I think we should consider follow..." I said, he nodded and I continued "Obviously, I'm sure you noticed, there's this... uhm... heat between us..." I said as I approached him. He nodded a little and I continued "so she thought, and I think she's right... that uhm maybe we should channel this heat... into Ross and Rachel" I proposed my idea while getting closer to him. At some point we were face to face. I put my hand on his chest and asked him while looking at his lips "Do you think we could do that?". I'm so attracted to him right now. He looked at my lips and said "mhm..." as he accepted my proposal. "Okay then..." I whispered as I looked into his eyes and raised my eyebrows. I slowly backed away, cleared my throat and asked him "so, uhm are you hungry? Cause we could go have breakfast downstairs with the others... if you want to". "Yeah, I guess we could." he answered. "Hey, are you okay with this?" I asked concerned. "Oh yeah don't worry, I'm fine. I mean, this will make our onscreen scenes better right? So it's a good idea." he then said smiling. I'm so glad he understood and agreed to try this thing. Then if it doesn't work out, at least we can say we tried. I whispered an 'okay' and slightly smiled.

We reached everyone at the buffet downstairs and I sit next to Courteney. "So, did you tell him?" Lisa asked curious. "Yeah" I said with a smile and then continued "And he seemed totally fine with it, really. You know Court I'm really glad you proposed this idea" I said and then continued "and I'm glad he accepted, he's so amazing" I said smiling, looking down at the table. "Looks like you have a crush on him..." Lisa said tilting her head, looking at her plate and smiling. Courteney nodded and smiled looking at me. I blushed and looked at them, "I really do, don't I?" I asked.

DAVID

I really hope Court's idea will work. I mean, I want it to work so that our chemistry onscreen will be better. Plus, what if we actually get together in real life and it doesn't work out? That will absolutely ruin all our scenes together. So it's probably better this way, and you know, if something happens once it's not a big deal, right?

I walked to the buffet to take something to eat, I took a french toast with some orange juice and then I noticed that Jen was talking to the girls, so I decided to bring her breakfast too. I took an avocado toast and some peach juice and headed to the table. "Brought you breakfast" I said looking at Jen. She stopped talking and turned her head to look at me. She smiled and said "Oh thank you", she looked down, so that no one would've noticed that she blushed, and took the plate. Lisa and Court looked at me and smiled. "What...?" I asked confused. "Nothing" they answered together. "Alright..." I said and took a seat at the table (in front of Jen of course). A few moments later Matt and Matthew joined us and we all started eating.

While eating, we would talk about the scripts and the show. These people are really fun and incredibly talented! I don't think I've ever met a nicer group of people in my entire life. And Jen... well, she's just amazing. I don't know how I'm gonna manage to do all these scenes with her and not fall for her.

Anyways, we all finished breakfast around 10 and started heading to Matt's room. "Okay guys, we have some time to kill so, what do you wanna do?" Court asked. "Strip poker?" Matt proposed and we looked at him annoyed. "Or just poker is fine too..." he then added chuckling. "Okay, well I guess that normal poker is fine" I said while nodding. Jen took the cards and started to shuffle them. She dealt the cards and we started playing. I changed two cards, so I had a full house. They all left the hand, only Jen stayed. "What do you have?" she asked me. I had this risky idea in my head, and I wanted to see how she would've reacted, so I said "I'm not telling ya. But what do you say if we make this game a little spicier?". The other four friends were watching curious. "I'm listening..." she said, narrowing the gap between us. "If I win, you kiss me". I said it. I just could bet she would've blushed or get embarrassed a little, but she didn't. Court gave her a dont-accept-that  look, but Jen nodded to reassure she had everything under control.

JENNIFER

I know what David was trying to do, so I just went with it and said "Alright, if you win we'll kiss", he gave me a questioning look. "What are you trying to do Aniston? I was just fooling around with you.." he said blushing. "Wait let me finish: if you win we'll kiss, but if I win... you have to kiss Matt." I finished. "Hey! Why me? Why not Matthew?!" Matt asked pointing at him. "Dude she chose you, shut up" Matthew said scared that I'd change my mind and choose him. Schwimmy exchanged a challenging look and agreed, which caused Matt to grunt. "Okay, so let me see your cards..." I said. He raised an eyebrow and put his cards on the table. "Oh, a full house" I said raising my eyebrows. "That's right, what do you have?" he asked now convinced he had won. I put my cards on the table and Matt whined "No no no, she has a four of a kind!! Now I have to kiss you!". The other girls started laughing. They fast came next to me to enjoy the show. "Alright..." David said and gave Matt and little peck on the lips when he immediately jumped away and we all screamed and burst out in laughter. "I hate you" Matt said pointing at me, but then Court yelled "I love you!" with a smile full of happiness, which made me smile. "Guys, it's time, we have to go to the script rehearsal" Lisa remembered and we got out of the room. We went downstairs and Marta said "Alright, guys we're gonna rehearse for two hours circa and then you're free". 

AN: guys I have no words to describe the horrifying situation in Ukraine. I know I can't stop the war, but I just wanted to say that I'm TERRIBLY sorry for what's happening. I literally don't know if a world war 3 is gonna start or if in two or three months everything's gonna be fine. This is such an uncertain situation. I'm fifteen this year and I already experienced a pandemic, climate change and a possible ww3. I know there's people that have been through A LOT more, and I'm praying for you, but damn it we're barely teenagers and we already have to go through all this shit. I hope it all's gonna work out in the end and this was just a very bad period of our lives. Please stay safe everyone, I love you.
