CHAPTER ELEVEN

Suco's POV

"BLUE?" I yelled.

I looked around the tents, expecting that blue hybrid to turn up.

All I found a collar and the lock behind it broken.

I growled in rage.

She couldn't have done this.

Too weak. Too cowardly to run away.

Unless...she was working with the Hybad all along...

It can't be.

Her personality isn't like that.

Was she acting all along?

But I didn't see any signs.

I brushed the thoughts away.

Whatever.

I'll just have to get her back then.
"Sanguis!" I yelled as he and his pet come to me.
"Anything you need, Your Highness?"he said while I saw his pet roll her eyes in annoyance.
I'll have to remind Sang to give her a punishment after this Hybad thing is over.
"Blue is missing." I said and he gave a gasp.
"She escaped?" He asked.
"No...at least I don't think so." I said.
"I'll search around." He said and beckoned his pet to follow him.
I hope she turns up somewhere.
I'll scare her and make her remember the pain of running away.
Blue's POV
I can't do this.
I can't kill him.
My hatred for demons is real but...
I can't .
I'm not a killer.
"Blue! You ready?" Bronze said.
I smiled weakly and nodded.
"Good. I saw a demon very close to us, remember, no killing unless necessary, we need to interrogate him." Bronze said as I gave a sigh of relief.
A group of hybrids including me and Bronze headed out to the wilderness and looked around cautiously.
My ears pricked up as I heard a sound.
"The demon is there..." I whispered, pointing at the right of us.
"Spilt up." Bronze said and we surrounded that area.
1.2.3.
We pounced out and held him down.
He gave a yelp of fright.
"Who are you guys?" He asked, frightened.
"The Hybad." Bronze said and his eyebrows went into a pointed, knitted shape.
"Where's Blue." He snarled.
I gave a gasp of surprise.
How could I not recognise him!
"Sanguis! " I said and pushed everyone of him.
"Blue...we've talked about this..." Bronze said exasperated.
"He's a good guy, trust me!" I said and Sanguis grabbed me by my throat.
"Sorry Blue. His Highness ordered me to take you back unharmed." Sanguis whispered.
My ears drooped down.
Master still managed to get me back.
"Let go of her!" Bronze said.
"If you come closer, I'll kill her!" Sanguis said, holding a dagger by my throat.
"I'll be fine Bronze..." I said.
Bronze glared at Sanguis and retreated.
Sanguis carried me to the camp and slowly...I dozed off.

"Wake up sly vixen." I heard a voice and leaped back.
"Master..." I said.
Lily and Sanguis were sitting far away from us.
"You escaped. You dared to." He said, disappointed.
"You can't blame me!  I've been trapped in this hell with you for so long!" I snapped.
I was expecting him to hit me or drink me.
But he just stood up and went away.
" Go...if you must. If you want to be free, then run." He said and I stood up and ran.
I ran away from the castle and forest.
Further and further.
I laid on the soft grass while I wondered why I was set free .
Freedom forever.
Who knew....
"Psst! Blue!" I heard a voice that was really familiar.
"Lily?" I guessed.
"That Suco won't let you go so easily! He's coming!" Lily said and ran off.
I ran out but was face to face with a demon.
Suco.
I flattened my ears and growled.
"Aggressive already?" Suco said in a dangerous tone.
He grabbed my neck while I struggled and tried to get out of his grip.
"Don't move my little vixen." He said and locked something on my neck.
A shock collar.
I looked at him fearfully.
"Now...let's get back home. You didn't really think I would let you go, did you? I already have a punishment all ready for you..." he said and grinned rather evilly.
We walked back to the tents and I saw Lily getting scolded by Sanguis.
She got busted too.
"Lily...don't run away! What if a tiger or something kills you?" Sanguis said.
"Alright alright." Lily said exasperated.
"Sanguis, you are being way too kind to your hybrid. You should punish her with a whip or else she'll never listen." Suco said.
"Hm I'll do it next time Your Highness." Sanguis said and Lily glared at him.
"Back to you vixen. This shock collar, unfortunately is that powerful as the previous one. But it'll work out. I'll just put the shocks on at least a minute." He said and I shook my head furiously, my eyes begging him to don't do it.
"Now then, I hope you will learn your lesson and stay loyal." He smirked.
The first shock made me growl in pain.
Then the second.
Then third.
I fell to the ground trying to detach the collar.
"Master, please." I breathed.
He just remained his smirk and sat down.
I clawed the ground and cried in desperation.
At last, after what seemed like an hour, the shocks ended.
I stood up, weak and in pain.
" I trust that you've learnt your lesson?" He asked.
"Yes Master." I muttered.
"Good." he said and dragged me to the tent.
"Stay here. If you dare run. I'll be having fun torturing you and your delicate little body." He said like a cunning sly fox.
I curled myself in a ball like I did when I was first bought.
I sobbed softly as I drifted off to sleep.

I have school now so I take a little long to update.
Probably once a week.
