✨CHAPTER SIX✨

"Blue, you did well..." he said with a smile with a bit of his fangs poking out.

I gave a forced smile and bowed "Thank you, Master.".

"I won't drink you today, unfortunately, Uncle scolded me on not letting you heal." he said with a small frown.

I gave a mental sigh in relief.

I won't get my neck full of scars again.

Master stroked me and took off my leash and collar.

"Get in." he said while stroking me.

The cage again.

I didn't need asking twice.

I went in and placed myself in the hole with Mother's scarf.

Home...

...Home?

My thoughts filled with this question.

Home was a place I felt more comfortable with right?

So does that mean this cat tree hole was my home?

I do feel safe and comfortable in this hole.

But was it truly a place that could keep me safe?

Master could just kill me if I was in this hole.

In Nerii's bedroom however... I had Ophiuchus and her.

But it just didn't feel like a home.

Ophiuchus was sweet and all but I wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping in that room.

It just wasn't the place to call home.

No where was really home to me anyway.

When I was in the pet shop I used to say something to Lily.

"Lily, imagine if-" 

She looked at me with her bored eyes and said "No."

I ignored her and continued.

"Imagine if hybrids took over the world!"

"Shush, if the demons hear this you'll get hit again." Lily said and fell asleep.

I dreamt of a world with no demons and only hybrids.

A place where Lily, Cerulia and the others could all be free.

In my train of thoughts, Sanguis came in with Lily.

Lily looked...happy.

She didn't have any bruises on her skin.

She gave off the same aura as Ophiuchus.

"The documents, Your Highness." Sanguis said and passed a few papers to him.

I was learning new things everyday, like papers, pillows and all.

Master grabbed them and stood up.

"Sanguis, could we talk outside? Without your pet." he said.

Sanguis nodded and hooked Lily's leash on the cage bars.

They went outside and I said" You seem really happy."

Lily smiled and said "Sanguis is really kind. He never used the whip on me, even when I complained."

"I could say we were friends."

I wished I could be like her or Ophiuchus.

I wished I could as happy as them.
