CHAPTER TWELVE

"Pet." I heard Suco call.

"Mm?" I muttered, stretching up.

"We're moving. The Hybad may be coming." he said I crawled up.

"Let's go then, Master." I muttered with a hint of sadness.

I should have never let Sanguis take me.

We went on the car and drove further away from the forest of memories.

"Lily?" I said, as Master dozed off.

"Hm?" she asked.

"Do you wish to escape one day?" I asked, softening my voice.

Lily nod.

"Don't worry, we will soon." she whispered.

"What?" I said.

All of a sudden, I heard a loud bang and frantically looked outside.

I saw Bronze and the others crashing through and Suco woke up.

"Bastards." he snarled.

He leaped up and Lily pulled me out of the car.

"PET!" Suco roared.

I gave a yelp of fear when he ran towards us.

Bronze shot some arrows and we were gone.

Off to freedom.

"Lily...You were working with the hybad all along?" I muttered.

"Of course. What else could I do in that hell hole?" Lily grumbled.

"You loved Sanguis, right?" I asked.

"Hell no. He's just that mosquito's slave, doing whatever dirty work he wants him to do." Lily said.

"He's not evil. Can't we save him too?" I said.

"Shut up, Blue! It's bad enough that you're asking me these questions!" Lily yelled.

"O-Oh...sorry." I said, a little alarmed.

We walked in silent until Ophi came.

"Ophi!" I squealed.

"Blue, you're back!" he said.

"Bronze. Off you go." Lily said.

"Yes, Of course." Bronze said.

"Are you the-?" Ophiuchus asked.

"No. Just the leader of sub-leaders."Lily said lazily.

"Right. Remember, the mosquitos are going to go after us so we have to ambush them, wiping them all out!" Lily said and Nerii and Ophiuchus nod. 

Lily was acting out of character.

"Lily. I need to talk to you. Privately please." I said and we went in a room.

"Sooo, Blue, did I act like the amazing leader I am?" Lily asked.

"Lily. You aren't thinking of killing Sanguis right?" I said seriously.

Lily's face darkens.

"Not this again. What if I am? Did he go against his Prince for me?" Lily said.

"He's your friend! " I argued.

"Blue. If you want to save him then go to him! We have almost all the princes, almost till we can lead this world!" Lily said.

She walked out and left me in the lonely room.
