"Lee Siyeon"

You exit the car to see the woman you were going to meet leaning on her car.

"Well, if it isn't my dearest frie- woah calm down tiger"

Your driver points a gun at Siyeon which you stop before looking at Siyeon.

"I heard that Lee Gahyeon is with the Kim family. Oh, the Y/N taking in a lee"

Siyeon tauntingly smirks at you which didn't faze you whatsoever, making the latter sigh.

"You're so boring Y/N"

You ignored her complaints, finally speaking.

"I did a background check before of Lee Gahyeon and I found absolutely nothing of the sort about her personal information. Just her age and name then coincidentally I found out you forged documents for a certain dealer that we both know very well which led you to successfully hijack fake money, now give me a reason why I should not let him shoot you right here right now"

Siyeon chuckled, tossing a coin as it almost immediately fell to the ground. You kept your eyes on Siyeon waiting for an answer.

"Because if you shoot me, you won't get the information you want about Our Lee Gahyeon"

Gahyeon keeps on glancing at the guard making her laugh.

"If you have questions go and tell me unlike Y/N I don't bite"

They're in a first name basis

Gahyeon starts to overthink the situation before she blurts out.

"Are you going out with Y/N?"

The woman couldn't believe what she heard stopping the car to take a good look at Gahyeon.

"Are you jealous, Miss Gahyeon?"

She leans in, making Gahyeon's breath hitch.

"W-who are you?"

The woman pulls away afterwards smiling brightly.

"Name is Arin and No I'm not dating Y/N, she... Don't do that. Just been there for her for years you know? Doing my duty"

She then starts driving again when Gahyeon starts to ask a lot more questions which Arin was very comfortable answering until that one last question when they were finally in front of Gahyeon's house.

"Are you in love with Y/N?"

Arin wanted to shrug it off but somehow, she can't. She just stood there frozen in place and that was the only answer Gahyeon needed before entering her house.

Both of them sighing heavily, the question and the answer stuck on both of their heads.

"Gahyeon was part of the Lee family but that was back when my parents still ruled the entire organization. You probably found a scar on Gahyeon's torso, she made a huge mistake on one of the transactions that one midnight which angered our father while our mother didn't do anything about it. It was around after the sun was shining so brightly that it could burn someone when our father abandoned Gahyeon in the streets. Me and Dami found out about it and we secretly gave her a place to stay and took care of her there. We tried warning her that if she tried to barge into one of our father's meetings, she would get killed but still she tried and tried to challenge our father for the title of leader. She hated the way he ruled but it was almost to the point of death where I had to interfere, I took full responsibility and promised my father it won't happen again and it didn't, I let Gahyeon live in another country for a while but when she came back and I ruled the Lee family. I tried getting her back with a lot of conditions that she could have taken advantage of but she told me that she was no longer part of the family and that she doesn't want to be considered as one and then I found out that she's with you which is surprising because you never take a Lee because you know p-"

You look at Siyeon dead in the eye before cutting her off with a.

"Something is missing, the documents"

Siyeon shrugs her shoulders, taking a cigarette and placing it on her hand.

"It's out of our control, you get the documents from the person themselves and not from us, just be careful Y/N take it as an act of kindness from me. Our Gahyeon is not the same anymore ever since she came back to Korea everything about her is different. It's like a cigarette, you smoke once and it burns your throat which makes it so addicting that it's almost impossible to quit and then you smoke over and over again and every time it reaches its limits or if the person is done smoking. The cigarette gets stepped on and dies. I could see it from a mile away Y/N, you're growing soft and I know full well it's Gahyeon making you like that because that's what she does best. Be the person and not the cigarette"

Siyeon then enters her car while you watch her drive away.

You also went back inside your car as the driver started to drive back.

"I don't want to believe her but with the scar, it just shows some part of it is true. I just don't know what part it is"

You groaned in frustration, leaning back, closing your eyes and taking a deep breath.

"I'm so frustrated"

Gahyeon wipes her tears looking at the mirror to see that her eyes were red and puffy.

"Am I the only one who remembered that we almost kissed in front of her room? Is she in love with Arin? Am I just some past time woman for Y/N? She always saves me from harm but is it because she still sees some use in me"

Gahyeon curls her legs as she hugs her knees crying yet again.

"Y/N you're so mean to me. What did I do to deserve this?"
