Gaege slammed the car door behind him and walked into the house, closing the door behind him. Eddie got up from the couch swiftly, walking over to Gaege to take his hands.
Gaege yanked his hands from Eddie, "Don't fucking touch me. I wouldn't even be here right now if I had anywhere else to go." He spat and started to walk away.
"Gaege, I'm sorry. I don't understand why you're so upset. All it was, was a simple peck on the lips. She is an old friend. I apologize, I really do." Eddie offered, with sad eyes.
Gaege turned around and scoffed, tears brimming his eyes. "If you don't see what you did wrong, then why are you apologizing? You shouldn't be apologizing if you aren't guilty." He crossed his arms over his chest, balling his hands into fists.
"Because your upset! That's why I'm apologizing!" Eddie pleaded.
Gaege just shook his head, "That's just fucking sad Eddie, you can keep your sorry ass apology over there. Do not fucking apologize because you feel bad for upsetting me if you can't fucking see what the fuck YOU did wrong!" He shouted.
"Then tell me, Gaege! What DID I do wrong?" Eddie yelled back, pointing a finger at his lover.
"Tell you what you did wrong? Are you fucking serious?" He scoffed and shook his head once more. "You fucking kissed another female while dating me, Eddie. That is cheating! Even if it was just a peck. Do you want me to go to work tomorrow and just smack my lips on Abi's?" Eddie shook his head, looking down. Gaege raised a brow, "Exactly, I didn't fucking think so." He turned to walk back down the stairs. "I love you, Eddie! I really fucking do. But your walking on thin ice."
Eddie sighed and sat on the couch, head in his hands.
"Nothing? Wow. Okay. You know, I've tried to convince myself for these past months that you actually cared about me, but nevermind. I'm nothing to you, obviously." Gaege said softly. The tears that were threatening to spill earlier, finally falling down his face, dripping onto his shoes.
Eddie looked up, "Gaege-" He was interrupted by his phone ringing out into the tension filled room. He looked down at his phone and stood up hurriedly, "I have to take this, okay? It's urgent. I promise that we can talk after this call."
Eddie stepped out the back door, leaving it cracked a tad. Gaege sighed and looked at the door, he sat on the couch, leaning his head on his hands. His head perked up when he heard Eddie raise his voice.
"That is OUR daughter, do NOT blame all of the financial shit on me! We each split the bills for her. You are the one who agreed on that because you wanted her to live with you full time, and I agreed because I'm always busy. Do NOT start this with me tonight." Eddie yelled into the voice.
It felt like time stopped for Gaege. He lied. Eddie lied. Gaege thought he may pass out. Before he knew it, his legs were taking him upstairs. He grabbed a booksack, shoving and fitting enough shit as he could in it. He swiped a notepad off the desk and jotted down a quick note,
Eddie,
Don't bother contacting me or looking for me. I'm sick of your lies. I'm done. I won't be coming into the bar any longer. All contact will be shut off. Feel free to get rid of anything I haven't taken with me. I wish you a good life. Goodbye.

He grabbed his bag, looked around to make sure nothing was left behind. He grabbed his car keys and booked it outside. He got into his car, throwing his bag into his backseat.
As soon as Gaege was backing out, Eddie ran outside. Gaege ignored him and sped out of the driveway.
He said goodbye to Eddie. He said goodbye to the life he just left. He vowed to not look back, ever.
Gaege glanced at the clock on his dash, it read 2:43 AM. He had been driving around for hours, with no destination in mind. It's not like he had anywhere to go. He couldn't go back to Eddie's for obvious reasons. He couldn't go to any of his 'friends' houses, they weren't his real friends, they were just people he would get fucked up with. His mother was no longer living, and his fathers house was a hard no for him.
He saw a motel up ahead. He turned into the parking lot, shutting his cars engine off. He reached into the back, grabbing his bag. He got out, slinging the bag around his shoulder. He walked up to the entrance door. He pulled on it.
Locked.
"Shit." He cursed, startled by how raspy his voice was. He got back into his car, sighing.
He rubbed his face with his hands. He reclined his seat back and closed his eyes.
"Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities." He whispered to himself. He wrapped his arms around his torso and drifted off to sleep.
Gaege was awoken by banging on his car window. He shot up and looked over. A little old lady was knocking on his window, he rolled it down.
"I'm sorry but this parking lot is for residents only and we currently have no rooms left. I'm so sorry to do this but, you need to go. I'm so sorry." She rubbed her eyes.
Gaege saw the yellowish eye bags she had, her hair was a graying brown color which was thin and breaking.
Gaege nodded, "Y-Yes ma'am, I'm sorry. I'll go."
She nodded and walked away, a slight limp apparent. He rolled his window back up, sighing. He rubbed his eyes and pulled his phone out, ignoring the numerous calls and texts from Eddie.
He opened up his contacts and clicked on Abi's. He hit the call button and put it up to his ear. After four rings he heard Abi pick up.
"Hey, Abi, it's Gaege. I'm sorry to have to do this, but can I stay with you?" He asked, biting his lip. "No, everything isn't okay. But I'll explain when I get there. Please don't call or text Eddie to tell him. Thank you, I'll see you soon." He hung up and put his car in drive.
He felt tears brimming his eyes but he refused to cry again. He was tired of crying. He was ready to be strong, for his own health.
