Meda balanced her plate in one hand and tossed an apple to Druig with the other as she approached the couch. He scooted over to create space for her between himself and Makkari. As she sat he rested his arm across her shoulders and took a large bite into the apple. Meda flinched as juice from the apple flew out and hit her in the face.

"Ugh, gross,"she shoved Druig further away on the couch, cozying up to Makkari who just smiled at the antics of her friends. The team had taken over Ajak's vacant house in order to recuperate both mentally and physically after the fight. The tv was playing footage of Tiamut's body rising from the ocean, but no one seemed to have any idea of what happened.

The sudden appearance of an enormous stone figure in the Indian ocean has left more questions than answers for authorities.

From the arm chair, Phastos' husband looked from the TV to the rest of the eternals in shock.

"You guys did that?"

Phastos had a guilty look on his face as he avoided eye contact with Ben. When Ben continued to stare at Phastos he let out a sheepish, 'I love you so much.' Ben shook his head at Phastos but the man was clearly impressed with his husband.

Meda settled further in to the couch draping her legs across Druig's lap, his hands absent-mindedly started tracing faint circles on her shins, looking very much at peace. A familiar whoosh of Thena's powers in action. Phastos jumped up and ran towards the kitchen where Jack was enthralled by Thena.

Makkari tapped Meda's shoulder to grab her attention and tilted her head towards the door with a raised eyebrow. Nudging Druig, the three had a silently agreed that it was time for them to go. Phastos was mid lecture as the group passed through the kitchen.

"Your dad.. spoke calmly and firmly to the bad guy and he had no choice but to listen to me..."

Thena jumped in before he could continue, "the boy is 10 years old, he is not a fool."

"When are you guys leaving? When is that happening? That's happening soon right? Oh good you're on your way out now?" Holding his arms out to usher them out the door, he pointedly stepped between Jack and Druig as he passed. "Don't go anywhere near him."

Druig rolled his eyes at Phastos, and from over his shoulder Meda winked at Jack giving him a salute.

The Domo was sitting on the expansive grassy field, looking wildly out of place. The team made the long trek slowly, taking every second possible to spend time with each other before they were once again separated.

When he stopped a ways away from the Domo, clearly not planning on going further, Thena turned to Phastos.

"Phastos, take care. This world is lucky to have you."

He smiled warmly at the stern woman.

"Thank you. I know you are not a hugger, so..." Meda pushed forward grabbing Thena and pulling her into a hug with Phastos. From behind her she felt Druig and Makkari join in. After a moment he stepped back. He fixed his jacket and joined his son and husband. The family watched the remaining eternals as they entered the Domo.

"Think we will find other Eternals out there?" Druig asked stopping suddenly.

The three women nodded somewhat confused, not sure what Druig was getting at.

"And what do you think they will do when they learn the truth?"

Makkari spoke up, looking as confident as Meda had ever seen her, "they will accept truth the way that we do because the truth will set them free."

"That's good enough for me," Meda said.

"Me too," Druig said as his hand came to rest on her back.

Thena stared at Druig's hand, and let out a sigh. "This is going to be interesting. Come on. We've got work to do." She turned and entered the ship. Makkari smiled and dragged Druig in after her. Meda took one last look behind her. For years she had wanted to leave this place but now that the time had come it felt bittersweet. It is not how she imagined it would be, her family was still separated, she had discovered that she had no true home to return to, and had lost some of the most important people in her life, but in some ways it was still good. Phastos standing with his family happier than ever, Sprite living out her dream to grow old as a human, and Kingo and Sersi continuing with the lives they had grown to love on earth. Thinking for a moment about the mission that lied ahead of them Meda mustered up all the faith she had that they would succeed and entered the Domo.
