Everyone in the dining room was rushing out the door and down the hall. The more the four of them ran, the louder, and frankly more unbearable the yelling got. They rounded a corner and eventually were met face to face with shock.

To be fair, it wasn't particularly a shock that took over when they finally saw the two princes again. More likely it was disappointment that washed over them.

The first thing they noticed were the flowers in Tommy's hand. Two yellow carnations and two orange lilies had been clenched inside the prince's fist and were being waved around so intensely that some of the petals risked flying off.

"Why do you have to be so fuckin' weird, man! Can't you just be normal for once?" Tommy held his arm out towards Ranboo, holding the flowers out to him. In return, Ranboo gently pushed his hand away.

"Listen, I'm just getting a lot of mixed signals right now. On one hand I can appreciate the gesture, you want to be friends because of this whole situation our fathers put us up to. But on the other hand, I've read that these have some negative symbolisms so I don't exactly know how you want me to feel."

"Oh come on! Why do symbolisms matter so much? I'm trying to go along with this stupid plan, just take the flowers, dumbass!."

"No, I'm okay. Just keep it, I insist." The pressure only grew on Ranboo as Tommy continuously pressured him to accept his gift. It got worse when he began to reach out towards Ranboo's hand in an attempt to forcefully get him to take them, only being faltered due to the dramatic height difference between them.

Phil stepped in to hold off Tommy, giving Ranboo a chance to finally step back. Seeing the two were at a safe distance away from each other, Wilbur and Techno joined Phil and began to get Tommy away from the other prince.

"What is wrong with you, Tommy! You're seventeen, I thought you would be mature enough to talk to someone without being supervised." Phil raised his voice while restraining Tommy, who was flailing around in his arms.

Everyone took their turn scolding Tommy except for Tubbo, who was standing back trying not to take part in all of the yelling. Tubbo couldn't make up his mind on what to do, he wanted to take part but he could slowly feel his body giving up on itself.

His vision began to go all black and blurry, and it felt like the room was spinning around him. He couldn't make out what was happening to him, and before he could ask for help he had long already ended up on the floor of the hallway. The last thing he could remember was everyone turning their attention away from Tommy, and all eyes being on him.

He was on a bed when he woke up. Tubbo quickly recognized the area he was in as a spare guest bedroom nearby Tommy and Wilbur's own personal quarters, even with his eyes still struggling to fully open and adapt to the light.

Before he could fully get himself to sit up, he was immediately stopped and pushed back down by someone out of his view. "Don't try and sit up, Tubbo. You'll probably pass out again, and we wouldn't want that, huh?" Like the room, he recognized the voice immediately, it belonged to the man that gave him a formidable look just this morning.

"Wait, Technoblade? Why'd you say I passed out?"

"Because you did, obviously. "

"Oh. Well, how long was I out?"

"Eh, not too long. I guess long enough for everyone to head off to bed for the night. You didn't miss too much though so don't worry about it." He said with a small smile. Tubbo was surprised at the calm tone the man beside him was using.

He had heard from nearly everyone in the palace, workers and royals, that this was 'The Blade'. Supposedly the toughest, coldest soldier alive, and he could definitely see where they were coming from with that assumption.
