If Wecan wasn't here, I wouldn't. He was the reason I stayed alive. I knew my mom was always too busy, so I took care of him. Caring for someone can form a special bond, like the one me and Wecan have. I love Wecan with all my heart.

Love can mean multiple things. Such as;
"I love my new sweater!"
Or
"I love my boyfriend"
But my love for Wecan is much different. It's a family love, which some don't experience. Others fight, be we hug. He's all I have and I'm all he has.

I love him to the moon and back. But the moon and back is just a phrase. My family is not defined as a 'phrase' we are defined as an 'essay'.

I softly nudge Wecan's stiff body as he sleeps.
"C'mon Wecan. Time to wake up!"
I whisper into his ear. He opens his eyes slowly and drowsily then blinks his Hazel eyes at me.
"Just a little longer?"
He says, sleepily. I shake my head and he sits up yawning. I start collecting my things and shoves them into my small duffel bag. I toss Wecan a granola bar and stand up. I call to Rhun who is staring, dazed off at a tree. I grab Wecan's hand and walk over to Rhun, a smile on my face. He is already was packed up, and ready to go. He flashes his pearly whites and we head off, leaving all remains of our camp behind us, walking into the unknown savannah .
