Annaisha POV

I'm sucking on my rattle toy right now since I'm bored and Brielle isn't in the room. I can't stop myself from thinking about things now that I'm alone. From other maids that come to clean the inside of my room, I've heard a lot of things. I had heard that I was living with Athanasia and the other maids in a palace named Ruby Palace. Others are about my mother, and they tell me stories despite the fact that they believe I am unable to understand them.

They said that my mother came from an unknown family. They was shocked when they learned that the emperor had another child, and they admitted they had no idea who my mother was because the emperor did not say anything to them, and no one dared to question him because they were all terrified of him.

So my mother's face is mysterious to me because no one ever gave me a description or explained her appearance because no one knew who she was. However, some of them claim that some aspects of my face are different from my father's and that I receive it from my mother.

Also, I recall that there are only two Princesses in the book 'Lovely Princess,' which I read. However, now that I'm here, there are three of us: myself, Athanasia, and Jeanette. I'm not sure why I got here and turned into a princess.

Perhaps I came here to protect Athanasia from the awful things that will happen to her, just as they did in the novel I read. I could be the key to preventing Athanasia's fate.

Once the door to my chamber opened, I was jolted back to reality.

"Rise and shine, princess!" Brielle's face appeared in front of me, at the top of my cradle.

I've been awake for a week in this novel I'm reading while still in the actual world. Also, a week has did pass since Brielle took care of me, and my heart has gotten attached to her because she was always there to comfort me when I cried, even late at night and she couldn't sleep.

I gestured her with my hands that I wanted her to lift me up from where I was lying. So she picked me up, as I decided to play with her hair.

"Please don't eat my hair, Princess. That is dirty." She was trying to take the hair from my mouth, but I shifted my head to the side and ignored her. Before she shifted how she held me, I heard her sighing.

I was wriggling as she held me because I wanted to get away from her since I was bored messing with her hair and wanted to go down to the floor.

"Do you want to get off?" Brielle wondered as she tickled my tummy. I beamed at him as I giggled because she caught what I was intending to express.

.

I've been chasing the rolling ball I was playing since it's been a month and I already know how to crawl. Because I haven't cried ever since he came to my room late at night, I haven't seen or heard any news about the emperor. About Athanasia, it appears that we barely meet since I used to see her twice or three times a week and she is approaching the age of one.

"Elle!" I tried calling Brielle, who was seated in her chair reading a book. She flicked her gaze away from the book and onto me before closing it and placing it on the table beside her chair. She walked up to me and knelt next to me.

"Yes, princess?"

"Up! up!" I raised both of my hands in the air. She chuckled as she lifted me to the floor and returned to the seat she had previously settled. She placed me on her lap first, making sure I will not slip, and then she took the book she had been reading before.

I saw what was written on the paper after she opened the book. I'm not familiar with any of the languages displayed here. I realize that I am not in my own world... I'm in the realm of fantasy.

"Uh?"

I felt Brielle move because the place where I was sitting shifted.

"Let me to teach you a word so that when you're older, you'll be able to say another word without problem." Brielle positioned the book in her lap so that I could see it clearly.

"The word 𝑎𝑗𝑖𝑜 means father, meanwhile 𝑒𝑜𝑗𝑖𝑜 means mother. Now, princess say ajio."

"Achiyo.. Achiyo!" I say the word gleefully. I turned to look at Brielle after hearing her chuckle from behind me. "It's Ajio, A-ji-o, not Achiyo Princess. You can try it again." That day was extremely happy and enjoyable because Brielle taught me something new and we created new great memories together.

The inside of my room was filled with laughter and giggling, and I got even closer to Brielle at that time.

Brielle turned to the last page of the book after teaching me and laughing with me. A man stands near to the imperial throne on the page. Its hair is blonde, and its eyes are a brilliant blue.

"That reminds me, I've never given you the name of the majesty. Your father, his majesty Claude de Alger Obelia." Brielle made a gesture toward the man on the page. All I can say now that I've seen the Emperor's face is that he's exceedingly stunning and tall.

"He's pretty, am I right?" Brielle remarked, as I nodded and continued to stare at the emperor's face.

He's very handsome. It's no surprise being one of his daughters is as beautiful as him. I'm curious to see what my mother looks like now that I've seen the emperor's face. Who is she and what does she look like?

"It's time to put you to bed, princess. Let's change your clothes, alright?" Brielle hoisted me up after closing the book she was holding and putting it back on the table. I nodded and hugged her neck since I had just realized it was late and I was exhausted.
