Third Person POV
Princess Annaisha's world appears to have collapsed since the older princess lost consciousness. Every day, the princess goes to her sister's room to see if the princess has awoken, but no matter how many times she goes back and forth, she always finds the same thing. Her older sister was pale all over, lying on her bed.
The Ruby Palace is so completely silent that you'd think there aren't any people there, but everyone here is hoping that the older princess is perfectly all right. Princess Annaisha, the happy princess, has simply disappeared. This has been replaced by a cold demeanor reminiscent of the emperor. She has changed since her sister passed out. The maids at the Ruby Palace are at a loss for what to do to console the princess. Brielle and Sebastian, thankfully, were there to accompany Princess Annaisha and comfort her whenever she was sad or crying.
When Princess Annaisha learnt her sister was awake, she dashed out of her chamber and dropped what she was doing on her desk to rush to Princess Athanasia's room. She went inside without knocking and found her older sister lying on her bed, tears streaming down her cheeks. Felix was concerned and wondered about her well-being, standing in front of Princess Athanasia.
Because of the pain in her chest, the princess was unable to respond. The pain is inexplicable, she gripped the clothes where her chest is and burst into tears loudly. Felix abruptly stood up from his seat next to Princess Athanasia, and Princess Annaisha ran to her sister, Felix assisting her in reaching the surface of her sister's bed, which she could not reach.
" Hana, I'm here; you can talk to me," Princess Annaisha said, caressing her sister's hair and hugging her to keep Princess Athanasia from crying. She has tears in her eyes and on her cheeks because she can't stand it when her sister is in pain. She wanted to help, but couldn't think of anything, so she hugged her sister securely.
" It hurts," Princess Athanasia whimper, still clutching her chest firmly.
After a few seconds, the emperor also entered his oldest daughter's chamber. He noticed his children huddled on Princess Athanasia's bed, unable to separate from each other and with tears rolling down their cheeks.
When Princess Annaisha realized their father had arrived, she raised her face, tears still streaming down her face, to look at him. Her voice quivered as she spoke.
"Papa...could you please help Hana?" she begged. The emperor's eyes widened at what the princess called him. She had never called him papa before. However, he shook his head as he leaned down to brush his younger daughter's hair away from her face.
"Don't worry. Your sister will be fine," he simply stated before turning his back on the princess to face the person kneeling in front of him and Felix.
" What do you think you're doing? I told you to heal her. " Claude started. " What on earth did you do to aggravate her condition?"
" I beg your pardon, your majesty, but the princess's condition has not worsened; it is only because she is conscious now that she is feeling the pain." Begged the person assigned to aid the princess.
" There's nothing we can do when her mana leaps to and from within her body like this... "
"So I told you to find a solution, and yet you don't even have the decency to be humiliated by your incompetence," the emperor responded. But the magicians who are still on their knees begged again, claiming that they are the most knowledgeable of all the royal magicians and that no other magician can help the princess at this stage. The emperor clearly heard Princess Annaisha whimpered after hearing these words.
