Third Person POV

As soon as Princess Annaisha came in, Princess Athanasia stood before her, her hands were on Claude's chest and she was singing a lullaby with a very pale face, followed by Claude who had just woken up from his slumber.

"What song was that?"

"A song to say 'Bye Bye' to bad dreams."

"Good Morning, papa!" Athanasia's beam at the man who just sat down from lying on the love seat inside his room.

"It's not morning."

"Then, good evening!"

"Where's your sister?" Claude asked when he noticed that her sister was not beside Athanasia.

"She's not arriving yet."

"You didn't go at once-?"

"I'm here." Suddenly utter the Princess standing in front of the door.

"Did Sebastian send you here?" Claude asked looking at Princess Annaisha. She nodded and then approached Athanasia.

"I should tell them to prepare our dinner here." Claude stood up and then pulled his hair going in front of his face.

- TIME SKIP -

Delicious foods such as steak, pasta and many other foods are on the table where Princess Athanasia and Princess Annaisha sit.

"From your expression, I can tell that you've been well." Claude started a conversation between the three of them.

"Papa is prettier too!"

Another silence came to the father and daughter time. Princess Annaisha was sitting in the middle of the table and Princess Athanasia was on the other side of the table, followed by the emperor who was also on the other side of the table. He and Athanasia were facing each other while a Princess is in their midst.

Princess Annaisha looked at the two before saying. "Can we start eating?"

The emperor looked at her with visible veins popping on the side of its head. Claude was already irritated at the sassy remarks that came out of Princess's lips. The Princess smirked a little at the expression she saw in the emperor, she felt triumphant.

"Let's eat. I made them prepare things you'd two like." The emperor said but before that he glared at Princess Annaisha who was now silent and happily staring at the feast in front of her.

"Thank you for the food."

The two Princesses began to eat, while the emperor was still there sitting in his chair and his plate was still clean. He observe the Princesses as they struggle to cut the steak. Princess Annaisha shoulders slumped before giving up to split the food and then put down the utensils while pouting. Princess Athanasia, on the other hand, continued to divide even though it was difficult until the knife flew in the air due to slipping it by holding the princess to the knife.

She tried to catch it but she couldn't grab it until it fell to the floor. A thud of silverware that fell to the floor erupted. Princess Annaisha gasped as she looked at the knife on the floor and Princess Athanasia just sighed.

"You need to learn more etiquette. I'll send someone to the Palace tomorrow." The emperor's response to what he witnessed.

"Those you have been learning from have no class, so it's time you both receive proper lessons."

"Athy and Annie will do her best, papa!" Princess Athanasia said happily. Princess Annaisha, on the other hand, seems completely unconcerned with what her older sister stated.

"Why are you staring?" Princess Annaisha asked when she felt the emperor's gaze on her.

"Why did you cry earlier on the boat?"

"N...Nothing." She avoided the emperor's gaze.

"I'm asking you." He ordered while cold when the emperor told her.

"I don't like water."

"Huh?"

"... I'm scared of water." Hesitate said the Princess.

After that, silence erupted in the dining room. Only the clicking of utensils and hitting them on the plates can be heard inside. No one speaks or breaks the silence. They continue to suffer so that they can finish faster and return to Ruby Palace.

- TIME SKIP -

Princess Annaisha watched as Brielle folded her clothes on the couch in her bedroom. Because no lights or similar devices are utilized to illuminate the place in modern times, the candles are the only source of light in the chamber.

Princess Annaisha wants to call the adult on the sofa but she doesn't want to disturb her since it's already night and maybe she will leave and rest after what she's doing.

"What is it, princess?" Brielle felt the Princess staring at her.

"Can you..." When she began. Brielle stopped folding and then approached the princess. She hummed and brushed the hair that was in front of the Princess's face.

"Yes, princess?"

"Will you sing me a lullaby?" The Princess asked.

"Alright. But you should sleep after that, okay?" Shesaid as she sat down next to the Princess. Princess Athanasia nodded and then scooted to the side so that Brielle would have more space.

" Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night.
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night."

Brielle began singing before adjusting the blanket on which the Princess rested. She patted the Princess after parting her bangs.

Brielle spotted the Princess sleeping soundly next to her after she finished singing. The mouth are not in contact with one another. He chuckled before softly cuddling the Princess so she didn't get cold and kissing her on the temple.

Brielle briefly glanced at the Princess, then seized the lamp and left the chamber where the princess sleeping peacefully.
