"Wh-Who are you?" Y/n asked, looking up at the Nurse.
"I'm Nurse Maki, please do rest up. I'm sure the pro heroes have a couple of questions for you once you wake." The nurse brought her to an empty room, laying Y/n down in bed before leaving the room to help attend to her other patients. Meanwhile, Eraser stood there pacing, trying to figure things out.
"She had Mt. Lady's quirk and Woods'. She's not their child... unless... No, that's impossible, for her to be old enough to at least manifest it, means that those two would have had to meet, or... Never mind, this is too much." He mumbled to himself, groaning as fatigue set in on him, finding his yellow sleeping bag, Aizawa quickly curls up in the comforting embrace of the warm cocoon.
"Sir... Sir... Eraserhead." Nurse Maki nudged Aizawa awake, smiling down at him as she waited for the grogginess to leave his eyes. "She's woken up, I think it's best you get your questions out now, Officer Tsukauchi is already in the room with her, but she doesn't seem to want to talk to him alone." Heading into the silent room, Tsukauchi tried to get the child to open up, but she was as silent as a mouse.
"Hey kid, mind answering some questions for us?" Aizawa sat down next to Tsukuachi, hoping that his presence would help, or anything at this point. He was tired, and the last thing he wanted to be doing was staying up trying to convince a girl to tell them where her parents were. "What's your name?"
"Y/n..."
"I'm assuming that's your surname?" Aizawa continued the small interrogation
"N-no... I don't know." She began to pick at the warm blanket that lay across her lap, folding the corner and trying to pick at the seams. Aizawa looked over at Tsukauchi, only to get a nod of approval.
"Well, Y/n. Is the box you were in, your home?" Aizawa continued, scooting his chair closer, trying to see what Y/n was doing with her hands.
"Yeah, there is an old lady who washes my clothes, and gives me food and water." Y/n recounted, relaxing a bit as she lifted her eyes to the three in the room. "Am I in trouble?"
"No no, you're fine. We just need to figure some things out. This lady, do you have any relations? Why not live with her?"
"I couldn't, she lives with her son, and I don't want to be a burden."
"Last question, what is your quirk?" Aizawa implored, leaning forward a bit as she could finally get some answers to the millions of questions zooming through his head.
"I-I don't know, when I get scared I can use your quirk Eraserhead!" All eyes went to the black-haired man.
"B-but, I don't have a girlfriend... Let alone a child." Aizawa looked around the room, Tsukuachi stared confused.
"Hey kid, how many quirks do you have per se?" The room went silent as the girl studied her hands.
"I don't know, I know I can do what Eraserhead can... and sometimes I wake up with new things. Like a week ago I had to get a new box because my old one got burned down from a new quirk. I also fell through the ground once. It was weird." Y/n continued to recount the few weird moments in her life where a new quirk was manifested. The entire time, both the nurse and Aizawa were looking at Tsukauchi for any sign of a lie, but nothing.
"Sh-she's telling the truth." He said barely above a whisper, and this is where things began to get complicated, they needed to keep her out of harm's way, with also making sure she doesn't become a danger to all of humanity. After hours upon hours of deliberating even setting up a meeting of some of the top pro heroes, and chief of police, they decided that her staying with Aizaawa would be best.
"You can stop her quirk if anything gets out of hand."
"Did I not tell you she burned down her home once, If my apartment sets on fire, I might just let it burn me in it." He groaned, leaning back in his seat, he could not deny that he would be the best fit to take care of the child, seen as Endeavor would be the second pick seen as all in the meeting knew of All Mights current situation. "Fine."
"When it comes to your concerns, we will have Cementos and a team of builders make you a home where her ever-changing quirks can be easily contained. The last thing we need is for her to blow up your apartment building in the middle of her sleep. Seen as her fire quirk hasn't taken any adverse effects to her body, none of the quirks she gains should, so it's best that we keep it contained to where she is the only one affected." Nezu explained. With that Y/n's living arrangements were made, and clothes were bought for the child. Aizawa decided to let her visit the old lady one last time before they set off to his apartment.
"Ah, Y/n. How are you feeling?" The old lady asked, stretching her arms out for a hug.
"I'm doing fine, I have a home now!" She began jumping up and down, looking up at the lady who had taken care of her for so long, making sure she was clean and fed.
"That's great to hear. Stay safe, don't trust everyone. And keep the quirk of yours in check. You almost killed me with your little hair-raising thing." Y/n scratched the back of her head, laughing softly in guilt at the memory. Once the moment was over, they parted ways with one final hug, and it was off to Aizawa's apartment.
"Look kid, we will be moving soon, so don't get too comfortable. I have work, and since I can't trust you alone, or at a daycare. You're coming with me." Aizawa began fumbling with his keys as they walked closer to the door, finally getting opened he said, "Do you understand?"
"Yep!" Y/n squealed before running in, feeling the heat, and looking around, seeing a cat tree with an adorable black cat perched on the top.
"Help me put your stuff away-"
"Kitties!"
