I Can See You

When Sherlock began to speak, he couldn't stop. When John began to listen, he only got more confused.

"John, I jumped off of the hospital so that Moriarty's men would believe that I was actually dead-"

"But Moriarty was already dead, wasn't he?"

"Yes but, his men didn't know that. They were going to kill you, Mrs. Hudson, and Jeff whether Moriarty was alive or not."

"Greg."

"What?"

"Greg. Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade."

"Oh. Well anyways, he killed himself and all that was left for me to do was say goodbye to you, and to make them believe that I was dead. Do you understand so far?"

"Yes, I think so."

"Alright. So after I jumped, a biker ran into you and you fell to the ground, obscuring your view of me hitting the pavement. Correct?"

John nods.

Sherlock nods back and continues, "Mycroft had expected there to be troubles so he sent out people to be there. When you fell to the ground and lost sight of me, I landed in a truck cab filled with blankets. When the man came up to you and put his hand on your face, you remember that?" John nods. "Okay. He put you back to sleep so we could bring Moriarty's body down, put one of those wigs that attach to a head on him, and then put make up on him so he looks like me. It was a painstaking process, but we managed." Sherlock takes a deep breath after finishing his speech.

John sits in silence for a long while. "And you stayed away this long? Why?"

"I had to let the news of my death die down."

"How many other people know?"

"No one except you, Mrs. Hudson, and the people along our street."

John nods. He understood. Of course he did.

Hi guys! I'll make this short. My theory thing that I did up there is completely made up. It doesn't even make sense, so don't think I actually think that's what happened. :)
