Luke's pov:

☆゚・*:.。.☆Flashback☆.。.:*・゚☆

We were supposed to go to high school together.

But now she's leaving to half way across the world.

To New York and she'll probably find a Ney York boyfriend with a New York accent and forget all about me.

"Luke," My Mom gets my attention, "cmon honey it's time to go say bye to Julie."

This is a dream. It isn't real.

But it is.

We walk across the street as Mr. Molina is putting the rest of Julie's luggage in the car.

I hate him. Why does Julie have to go so far away?

When they first told us I got mad and yelled at him. He said it's for her own good and she was too reckless.

"Ray," My Dad greets him but I don't bother and go straight inside instead.

"Hey honey, you looking for Julie?" Mrs. Molina asks.

I nod my head.

"She's in her room, you can go up," She smiles sweetly.

I walk up the stairs then knock on her door softly.

"Come in," She says quietly.

She sounds sad.

I open it and see her sitting next to the window facing her back towards me.

"Hey Jules," I say walking towards her.

She turns around after hearing me, "Luke."

I go and sit next to her.

"I don't want to leave," She practically whispers.

"Me either," I also whisper.

"What are we gonna do? I'm not gonna see you anymore," She says as tears fill her eyes.

"Well once you're in high school and get a phone we can call me and text all the time. And I can visit you," I say but I don't know if it's to make her feel better or me.

"But what about the different time zones," She points out.

"It's only a 3-hour difference. We'll figure it out," I say with a small smile.

"We were supposed to go together," She says looking down.

"Julie come on we can be late for our flight!" Julie's Dad yells from the driveway.

We look at each other and some stay tears fall down her cheek.

I don't usually cry in front of people, I hate it. But I can feel my eyes start to water.

"Cmon," She stands up and holds her hand out.

I take it and we walk downstairs silently.

We get to the driveway and our parents are waiting for us.

Julie already said goodbye to our friends yesterday. Reggie couldn't stop crying.

Julie says goodbye to each of them individually, Mrs. Molina starts crying.

She comes to me last and I can't help but let the water from my eyes fall.

She brings me into a hug and whispers, "It'll be okay," I can tell she's crying too.
