begin again?

( this is set in the present day)

Me and the team decided to go out for drinks to celebrate my first shift as captain. which i quickly agreed since my dad has my daughter Ella tonight. who do you guys think the new battalion chief is going to be? Travis asked while taking a sip of his beer. whoever he is better be better than Dixon maya laughed. after a couple minutes of talking andy, vic and maya headed to the dance floor. as they were dancing andy caught a glimpse of a guy that looked all to familiar but at this point she was to drunk to even realize that Robert was on the other side of the bar.

Roberts POV:
After taking a job in my home town of Seattle I decided to head to the bar andy and I used to go to almost every Saturday night. while I was sitting at the bar I saw her. there she was andy my Andy. i kept having to remind myself that she has probably moved on. I was watching her dance with her friends and I kept think about how her and I used to dance together. after watching her for a couple minutes it was obvious she was very, very drunk but she seemed happy.

Back to Andy's pov:
after dancing for what felt like hours andy walked over to the bar to get everyone some more drinks. andy and her team always came to the bar after a tough shift so joe knew them all by name. hey joe can I get four beers I said slurring a bit as I spoke. anything for the captain joe said giving andy a smile. Little did andy know Robert was right beside her and was listening in on this conversation. how was your first shift as captain? joe asked handing andy one of the four beers. it was good..a little scary but good I laughed. well I'm glad to hear it joe said handing Andy the last beer.

sorry these chapters are super short but I plan on having at least 10-15 chapters sooo :)
