I woke up with Jace's arms around me. I wish I could wake up like this every day for the rest of my life. Well maybe not exactly like this cause Adam was giving Jace a warning glare not to touch me, although I could care less if he did. That and the fact that my cheek hurts like hell.

"What time is it?" I asked in a groggy morning voice. I cleared my throat.

"It's almost 12:00."Jace answered, looking at his watch.

"We should probably get home now." Adam told me and I nodded in agreement.

I got up off of Jace's lap and walked upstairs with him and Adam following. Once I got upstairs I saw Carrie sitting at the kitchen table, eating apple slices.

"Jace? Can you tell you're mom that we went back home?" I asked.

"Sure. Just to let you know, I would give you a kiss goodbye but I don't want to h-"

I interrupted him by softly placing my lips on his. It hurt but there was more pleasure. The kiss was short but powerful and filled with love.

I pulled back, he look surprised. Oh no...

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

"I'm just really happy, and a little surprised." He blushed. It's so cute when he does that.

"Why were you surprised?" I asked, bending down to put on my shoes.

"Well," he began. "First of all, you caught me off guard. Second of all, Adam's standing right behind us." He whispered that last part and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Phoenix, you ready?" Adam asked. I nodded my head and took my coat off of the rack.

"Bye Jace" Adam and I said at the same time before closing the door.

The walk home was short and un eventful. I opened the door to the house and Adam quickly closed it behind us. We took off our coats and shoes as quick as we could. The faster we could get to our rooms the less likely it was for us to bump into our parents. Once Carrie had her stuff off I told her to go to her room and wait for Adam and I.

"Get the fuck out!" My dad yelled from a different room.

"I'm leaving!" My mother screamed back as she entered the kitchen. She pushed past Adam and I to open the door.

"Bye kids." She slammed the door shut, knocking down a few paintings from off of the walls in the process.

George came running into the room shortly after. "Which one of you told her about the prostitutes?" He screamed. "You!" He pointed to me before we could even answer.

He grabbed the collar of my shirt and basically growled at me. "You told her! I know you did!" He spit on me as he talked.

"Leave her alone!" Adam shouted and tried to make him let go of me.

George pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the stomach.

"No!" I screamed and felt hot tears roll down my cheeks.

George threw me over his shoulder and was carrying me into his room. I kicked my feet and punched his back the whole way. It was no use though.

He threw me down onto his bed and sat on top of me, his legs covering my arms so I couldn't fight back. He picked up a lighter from on his nightstand and rolled up my shirt. He flicked the lighter on and pressed it hard into my side. I arched my back up off of the bed and screamed. He held the lighter there on my side for about three seconds, although it felt like forever.

Once he pulled it off of me, there was a fleshy hole in my skin that soon began to bleed. The pain was something I have never felt before. George has burned me many times, but using a match or a cigarette. This was just crazy!

I would have yelled some things at him but that would only caused him more anger. He would only hurt me more.

The next thing he had was a knife. I didn't see where he got it from but it was probably his nightstand. My sight was blurred from the tears.

He glided the knife along my stomach. It wasn't too deep but it still felt dreadful. George smeared my blood across my stomach before forcing his hand into a fist and swinging it at me. Everything after that was a blur, I'm thankful for that.

Adam's POV:

"She'll be ok," I told Carrie, barley able to contain my tears any longer. "Daddy just, he just has to talk to her." I wanted to go help Phoenix but I had to make sure Carrie was okay.

It has been nearly two hours now. Her screams had vanished a while ago and I was terrified for her. Just when I was about to get up and go help her, George walked into her and Carrie's room with Phoenix in his arms. He sat her down on her bed and left.

"Oh my god!" I chocked on my words at the sight of my sister. She was drenched in her own blood. "Don't look! Go sit in the corner of the room and don't look until I tell you to, everything is going to be ok." I told Carrie and she did as told.

Her chest was still rising and falling. Thank god.

I lifted up carries shirt, revealing where the blood was coming from. There was a huge gash across her stomach and a burn mark that was dripping blood. I also noticed a few other cuts, burns, and bruises. I need to stitch the cut and the burn so she doesn't bleed to death.

"Wait here." I told Carrie before leaving the room to go find a sewing needle and string.

I looked in literally every drawer in the house and found nothing. I knew Jace would have some but I didn't want to have to call him to come over. After a minute of debating in my head whether or not he should come, I decided it was my only choice. I picked up the house phone, dialled his number, and waited for an answer.

"Hello?" Jace's voice traveled through the phone.

"Hey, Jace. It's Adam. I need you to come to my house with string, a needle, some gauze and peroxide." I rushed through the sentence.

"Uh, yea. I'll be there in a few minutes."

I hung up the phone and ran back into the girls' room. Carrie was still in the corner, trying to hide her sobs. I ripped off a piece of my shirt and wrapped it tightly around her stomach, hoping that it would calm down the bleeding until Jace gets here.

Okay so yea stuff is still gonna happen in the next chapter or two. They should be up later today or sometime tomorrow.
