The next day started like any other. Band practice went better than yesterday and my friends and I went to the same cafe like we always do after band. All through out today I was racking my brain to try and find a way to get my friends to go see Octavian and his group. I decided there was no other way but to,

"Hey guys, you know there's this Greek mythology convention thingy at this place I think we should check it out!" I say. I show them the address.

"Sounds fun! I'm in!" Kirstin says.

"I don't know sounds kinda sketchy isn't that an old abandoned auto shop?" Tori questions.

"No! Well maybe but who cares? It's free and I'm pretty sure there will be food but if you really don't want to go-"

"Food! Free! Oh we're going!" Jessie interrupted me and turned the corner before we get to the cafe towards the place.

"Gosh Jessie all we have to say is 'food' and you'd be into doing anything," Eric comments.

"And when she gets to the food involved she eats like a whale," I say.

"No she doesn't eat like a whale, she eats the whale," Gray says. We all burst out in laughter.

"Nice one Gray," Tori says linking her arm with his.

"GRATORIA FOREVER," Jessie screams. Gray starts to chase Jessie around in circles fake trying to strangle her. We all laugh. Just a normal day in the life of our band kid group. Gray finally gives up and we all continue our walk. When we get there I knock and it wasn't two seconds when Octavian throws open the door. He opens his mouth to say something then he notices my friends behind me. He ushers them in but keeps me at the door. Once they were out of earshot he grabs me by the shoulders and looks me straight in the eyes.

"Where in Tararus have you been? I thought you were coming straight here first thing today?" He whisper shouts at me.

"Well I'm sorry I have some doubts about some random guy and his weird friends that ask me to bring my best friends to an old creepy auto shop! Especially when said person keeps talking about Cyclopes and demigods!" I retort. "And frankly It infuriates me that you keep acting like I'm some fragile little flower but talk to me like I'm a criminal!"

He just stares at me. Something's wrong. There's something he's not telling me. I can see it in his eyes that he's afraid of something. Afraid for me.

"Where's the food- oh um hi! Who's this? You know you two look really cute toge-" Jessie starts to say but I quickly cover her mouth with my hand.

"Hehe yeah Jessie doesn't really have a filter." I feel something wet on the palm of my hand.

"Ugh! Jessie! Not again!" I say wiping her spit off my hand onto her shirt.

"Claimed!" She shouts.

Octavian looks at us confused.

"Yeah it's Jessie logic. If you hang out with us enough you'll just start to except it, not understand it but except it," Tori walks up to us.

"So where is this food you promised?" Jessie says crossing her arm across her chest.

"Uh yeah see what had happened was... okay confession time. First this is Octavian and he and his friends want to talk to us about...stuff"

"Stuff?"

"Yes stuff and there is no food that I know of."

Jessie narrowed her eyes at me and frowned. "There's no food so there's no Jessie." she says walking towards the door.
