Lesson 1(part 2) sensing all that is around you

Samiko returned home Sunday night, she informed her sensei lord toga that she will return and that she had stuff to do with her family and that she had classes where she was from

He understood what she meant and let her go to give her time to get her affairs in order, he understood that she has family she needs to protect wherever she is from, she can go and come as she pleased as long as she kept up with their training he didn't mind that she left

Once Samiko opened the portal to her world, she jumped right into it landing in front of the shrine

There she was greeted by her entire family with warm hugs and warm food

Kagome stood by samiko's side the entire time

"Are you ok Samiko? Did you really time travel?"

Samiko nodded

"Yes it is the fate of us Higurashi women to ensure the safety of the world, maybe grandpa was onto something, we all have a destiny to fulfill without changing the timeline too much. We are the chosen ones at the end of the day, We know what we have to do when the time comes."

Kagome hugged Samiko tightly

"I wish you didn't have to go all the time, why do you have to go? You have a life here with friends and family and Buyo."

Samiko patted Kagome's head

"Hey don't start crying kagome, it's part of my destiny to help the world in ways nobody can, i will come home more often so don't worry.

Who knows where this destiny will lead me, I hope I do enough that I save lives and that things remain peaceful and intact.

I am tired and we have school tomorrow. Let's get some sleep after I tuck Sota into bed."

She picked up Sota and tucked him into bed carefully and covered him up with the blanket

Both she and kagome went to the room they shared hopped into bed falling asleep

The next morning the family was up preparing for a normal day, the girls got up and did their chores and looked over their notes for their classes

They all ate breakfast while mama Higurashi made their boxed lunches, Samiko looked at her history book to go over every era possible

The era she is traveling to never mentioned demons but they mentioned maidens and other spiritual things

She guessed that the text books weren't ready for that type of teaching, she noticed that it takes every five or ten years for textbooks to update its history correctly, she knew she couldn't change the course of history or mention what her life mission was to her best friends

Lunch period came and the girls were sitting at their usual table just talking and gossiping

Samiko looked off into the distance drinking her milk box with a straw, she barely touched her food

She sighed in discontent and she noticed her best friends were staring at her

"What? Do I have something on my face? What's with the concerned looks?"

Akira was the first to speak up

"Samiko you have been acting weird all week? Have you been getting enough sleep? How are your shrine lessons going?"

Aimi looked concern

"Is it the dance that's coming up soon? You are part of the student council and the planning committee, what's going on with you?"
