Lesson 2: Life ( Day 1)

Lord Toga's wife kept a close eye on samiko's progress, she was very impressed of how far she made it on her spirit power alone and without anything to eat

She was entertained to say the least of how samiko was handling the underworld

Samiko was walking down the long road in the underworld and she came towards the three sided road she was warned about before being told to walk inside the portal

This was the test she must pass before returning to her teacher and his wife, she knew she must not show weakness of any kind while being down in the underworld, she had to hide everything that was consuming her emotionally and mentally

She was met by the first demon, the demon that enters the soul to find and corrupt the heart and mind

The demon spoke in a raspy voice

"Ah... so you are the Miko from the future that is traveling with lord toga, we all hear that you are the first human to deflect his windscar, your soul is just what i am looking for to devour! You will never come out of this alive, I will destroy you inside and out! I will know all your weaknesses and more!"

The demon spirit tried to fly into samiko's body but failed, she had a jar opened and closed it as soon as the spirit flew in it

Samiko smirked

"You honestly think I came unprepared? I am Samiko Higurashi, future head of the Higurashi shrine. I am always ten steps ahead of my opponent. Do not underestimate me."

She held the jar close and purified the demon spirit inside it and she watched the spirit disappear within the jar

The lady of the sky castle kept an close eye on samiko and her progress, she was impressed even though she had this discontent look on her face but she was of high stature and to look like she didn't agree with everyone

"This girl is content and dangerous within her right, but she is too reserved. She needs to release everything that is pent up inside of her, the longer she holds on to whatever is bothering her, she only can release it in one of two ways, first way is in pure anger and rage and the second way is in full control of her emotions

If she doesn't complete this by tonight, her soul will belong to the underworld and there is no coming back from that."

Samiko kept on the straight and narrow path, her way of defeating demons was simple and the best course of action, she hadn't relied on her bow and arrows as of yet, all she used was a jar to capture the spirits and purify them and watch them disappear

She sat down and relaxed a bit to regain her mental and emotional strength, once she regained everything she continued her journey in the cold and alone after life

Meanwhile in the present day era, the Higurashi family was getting ready for dinner, everyone sat around the table
